365? Hey that's my bad it's been a while since you've heard from me but I changed my pday to go to the temple today andddddd today one year ago I was set apart as a missionary!   I'm LOVE being a missionary.  Laetitia and manzita are getting baptized next week and Audrey's getting baptized this week !  We're setting records over her !! But what's even more exciting is not only are they entering the gate of baptism, but they're all staying on the covenant path and are coming to the temple with us. They are all coming to church every week !!  The lord is hastening the work ! Life is crazy mais la vie est belle  (But life is beautiful) If you want to see 365 days worth of pictures here's a link to my photo album ✨️ https://photos.app.goo.gl/neuTgnsrWwyNtsCR9

Now is the Time! Hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello All!:)  What a wonderful Friday morning this is:)  (Ok, so this email is going to have two parts to it:) stick around at first if you want to hear all the updates about me and what's goin on. skip to the end to be spiritually fed! (if you only have so much time, go read about Jesus instead of me:)(cuz he's the most important ok? ok.)))  I am so excited to be here!!  It has officially been two weeks since I have transferred!  Wow.  Sometimes it feels like it was all a dream.  Sometimes it feels like this is the dream 😂  I have to tell you, being a missionary in your own town is quite the odd experience.  I have gotten the opportunity to meet so many amazing sisters.  Both in my service district, but also the teaching missionaries here in springville!!  I've gone out with the teaching missionaries a few times and what a b...

Heyyyyya🌻🐢 Stay tuned for next week to hear about the miracles of this family!!! This week after getting invited in broken English to go get baptized in a different church and being humbled as I realized that was basically what I have been doing every single day for the last year I asked 韋姐妹 Sister Wei what I could do to not sound like like and sound more Taiwanese! She told me that I could say heyyyaah because in Taiwanese that means dui or yes so then right after that we had some quick time to go finding and we were laughing about that when we met a lady and we started sharing about what we do and we asked her about the plan of Salvation and she was so curious and it was SO COOL. I'm so lucky that I get to be a missionary for Jesus Christ and know His doctrine and every day get the chance to testify of Him! It's so life changing and I know this is His work!! Heyyya :) Anyways I don't have a lot of time but I hope you all know that GOD LOVES YOU and He's super aware...

Many Ways This work is led by the Holy Ghost who is preparing people to hear this happy message and I'm here today to tell you about some of the ways the Holy Ghost has prepared people: On Sunday we had a surprise lesson with a lady named Sophie! She has come to church three times and last time I was able to give her a Book of Mormon! In this lesson we were able to hear her background! It all started with a test! She was a college student and therefore was tired (辛苦你們)she did the test really fast and then fell asleep! Which in turn made her miss the whole back page! She failed the test. Was kicked out of the school. And as a result went to a Catholic college instead! There she learned about Jesus and her heart was softened! But due to circumstances she was not truly converted and in her words was just waiting for the right time! Well the right time came and Sophie and the failed test are a miracle! Imagine this: you see a girl and she's about your age and the spirit tells you...

A week of ups and downs! Kia ora! I hope yous are all doing good! This week was great and i cant wait to get into it! Photos 📸 https://photos.app.goo.gl/TQ33C4d8unDGQ4xA6 Tuesday: this day was pretty normal. Most of our lessons fell thru, so we ended helping the social media sisters out with their video so that was fun! We also found out that our returning member, Brownie, was out of town this week for a funeral service which was very sudden, so keep her family in your prayers! We also played some chess with the ZL's that night, so that was good.  Wednesday: this day was pretty crazy! In the morning we found out the elder Feps (an elder in our district who is currently training a new missionary) was getting an emergency tranfer! So this was our last day with him 😮. It was super sudden and sad to see him go. But we got a new elder come in to take his place and continue the training. And guess who the new elder is... Its elder Cooper! If you dont know, me and elder cooper hav...

Am I living in a simulation?? Kia ora! This week was pretty good! There was a lot of funny stuff that went on, I cant wait to tell yous all about it! Photos! 📸 https://photos.app.goo.gl/TQ33C4d8unDGQ4xA6 Tuesday: We had our member friend Craig in the morning and he just talks for hours about when he thinks the second coming is. He also showed us a video where a Rabbi explained some end-time prophecies lol but we were able to watch pres nelsons talk with him and the spirit that between those 2 videos was crazy. The prophets words were so powerful compared to this other video 🤣( no offence to Mr. Rabbi.) We had a mean dinner with our member friend Brownie. Fry bread and a lamb stew thing was goated. Its always fun with her! Wednesday: we had our first DCM of the transfer haha. Which is funny because we are already almost halfway through. But with zone conference and the temple trip for the sisters, it was just hard to get together as a zone, but we made it happen this time. My zo...

💎carbuncle💎 Over the course of my mission I have thoroughly enjoyed some of the words I have found in the Book of Mormon for example carbuncle! It sounds like a way to exclaim for a pirate! But in reality is a red gem! (Grateful for bible dictionary!) Anywayyyy let me know if you have any favorite words you've found in your scripture study recently!  Besides gems found in scriptures there were some gems this week too that I would love to share with you: This week we had a miracle in the form of a fellowshipper! In the lesson our friend shared with us that she did not know how to even start in reading the Book of Mormon and our member shared a beautiful testimony of her conversion through the Book of Mormon! It helped our friend to commit to reading the Book of Mormon for thirty minutes a day! Which if that was not enough they stayed after our thirty minute lesson and talked for an hour and a half more! Every person has a role in this work and I've loved seeing that in Taiw...

"Paths that they have not known" Hello hello hello hello hello hello everyone!  wow! It's so weird being home!  so, since I am sure a ton of you have a ton of questions, here we go!  I am now a service missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints:) Even though I am living at home now, I am 100% still a full time missionary. My calling has not changed, I have not been released, or re-set-apart. However there are a lot of things that are different about my new assignment. My standards as a service missionary are honestly so much different. Because I do not have a companion there are a ton of things that just don't apply anymore. I don't need to have someone with me all of the time, I don't need to approve text messages, I don't even have to have someone back me out of my parking space :0 wowie. I am choosing to keep many of the standards that I have learned and lived by in the field, but even those things that I am still following are not...

Because OHIO🏄 This week I had my first conversation in English with a kid under 6 in over a year and it went something like this "I heard you like America, why?" 5 year old friend "BECAUSE OHIO" he's never been to Ohio or America but Ohio has his heart❤️ (haha does that sound familiar?)    NORTH DAKOTA This week was CRAZY!! Here are some things that happened🍨 - because of our mission competition we have been keeping count of rejections and because of that when someone is actually willing to meet with us I'm a little disappointed! But honestly this challenge has really pushed me and it's crazy how the Lord has helped us be more effective! - we gave a church tour in the middle of our deep law of Chastity lesson... but our friend that we were teaching law of chasity still is on baptism date and the friend that we gave the tour with set a time to meet this next week soooo it all works out for the good! - we were on the way to go to a park this week but i...

太可惜 Hey all this week went like this: 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ And then it was over!!! And honestly that is how this email will be! 🧋sister Henderson decided she likes brown sugar milk with boba! And its delicous 🔄I got to go on exchanges with Sister Ekins! She is too sweet 🏃‍♀️ we ran on the river trail and I learned it goes all the way from shenkeng to daxi which are both of my areas!! Bucket list for sure!! 🎶 they made a latter day vibes playlist on sacred music app 🌎 our friend who weve been meeting with since July doesn’t live in our area 🐛 they were gassing out the cockroaches of sewers so I saw fifty in three minutes! I still have not recovered 🍪 we had a cookie making activity! Yum yum  The biggest highlight was zone conference where we learned all about commandments! We learned to replace 沒問題 -> 太可惜 or no problem -> what a pity! Because there have been so many times my friends are not keeping a commitment and I say no problem in fear of offending them! but there really...

10 minute prayers🐢🙊⭐️ Helllloooo team! GUESS WHAT?!?!?! SANDY GOT BAPTIZED!!! Sandy was our friend in Nantun (my first area that I love with my whole heart) the first time we met with her we taught her the Restoration and she told us that she thought it was just a story and then she said maybe next time you can share your own personal experiences instead. Sooo that's what we did and 10 months later she was baptized!!  Walking into the Nantun chapel seriously felt like walking home and I do not say that lightly haha but when I walked in and saw all the Nantun members and friends they were so excited and I was so excited and it just felt AWESOME!! Isn't it so cool that through Christ's love we can make relationships with people you never would've thought and we all just feel like a big family? I think that's pretty cool❤️ Especially since when I was in Nantun I could barely even speak but they still loved me haha I think that's what was surprised the Nantun memb...

Tuesday: pretty basic day, not much went on lol. Wednesday: we had interviews with pres and sister Allen this day because we had zone conference on friday! But other then that not much went on. We had a lesson fall through which was kinda sad, but we meet with that friend 2x a week so its not that bad Thursday: we got to get brunch with a less active member and it was super cool because we went to an old fashioned burger diner place, it totally reminded me on In-N-Out 😂.  Thursday night we also got to pick up on of the youth in the Tongan ward and he came and did some visits + door knocks with us. He is a funny kid and it was cool to teach him the ropes of missionary work. Friday: friday we had zone con which was really good but really long haha. My favorite parts were the zone activities and the testimonies of the departing missionaries. There are so many missionaires who are going home! Saturday: this weekend we are watching general conference. We do it a week later becau...

Temple leg workouts and new missionaries Bonjour mes amis !! My bad that it's been a while... I've been out of storage so I wasn't able to send an email these past few weeks, any tips ? Temple leg workouts : We did a killer leg workout before going to the temple one day last week and it was such a fun day showing some of our friends the outside and the visitor center and then going in to the temple with our one week new convert. He was getting baptized for his family!! So powerful. He then baptized me and my companion.  I was told I was a very good baptisee and I think its from all those good squats I did that morning.  New missionaires!! We got to go back to the airport to pick up the missionaires and spend their whole first day in the mission with them. It was such a blast and is now one of my favorite days in the mission  Laetitia!! She came to church a couple of weeks ago and said she wants to get baptized!! We taught her the plan of salvation and now she has s...

Unexplainable Joy Hello my friends and family! What a joy it is to be writing to y'all again. My heart is full. This is my final email that I will write as a missionary and I am feeling grateful. Thank you for all the support and love you've given me over the course of these past two years I will always remember it!  I am in the biggest conflict of feelings right now. I am very excited to see my family again (especially my mom) but oh how I'm going to miss my mission family as well. My companions, wards/branches, Mission President & his wife, friends, and so many others will always hold a close place in my heart. God is so good and has blessed me more than I could ever imagine. He is my Father and I am His son. I know more now than I ever have before that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and He is my Friend, Redeemer, and Savior.  I have learned more things than I could write in this email and I am excited to tell you all the stories and experiences that I...

協調會~The office Episode I cannot believe this week happened.  On Tuesday we had transfers a day early for the typhoon that was coming. It was SUPER sad!! I had to say bye to Sister Lonergan which was SO SAD and got to welcome Sister Wei 韋姐妹。Sister Wei started her mission the same time as me and is from Taiwan so she's super duper cool and today's her birthday 🎂   The typhoon in Gaoxiong was CRAZY and so keep them in your prayers! But here in Taiping nothing really happened except we couldn't use Youbikes and nobody had school or work for 2 days!! Kinda like a snow day when it doesn't snow but it was actually the best! We walked all the way to Macaroon Park and there was SO MANY PEOPLE there and we met a lot of people on the way!  ALSO GUESS WHAT SISTER SKINNER FINALLY PULLED SOMEONE OVER!!!! Basically in Taiwan when we are at stop lights we talk to the people on their scooters and basically invite them to church or just ask them how it's going. Haha I probably...

Peanut Butter and Prophets This week we made these brownie cookies in our toaster oven with weird oil and by themselves they tasted not yummy!! But with the peanut butter they were so good!! Peanut Butter just makes everything better!! And you know what else does that? Jesus! Let me give you a few examples!!! This week we... Had to plan Wednesday twice and then didn’t follow the plan at all Tried to follow the Elders, on our bikes, in skirts, in wind, dodging pink plastic bags as we went! We lost that battle and the pink bag had to be torn out of the gears! So it lost too don't worry Biked thirty minutes having about half a brake working #wedidntdiesoitsallgood The above wind was caused by a typhoon hitting taiwan! Luckily it wasn't too bad in our area but did mean more knocking in the rain and a whole day stuck inside!! Had a lady tell us the way she felt the spirit was through worshipping idols 拜拜 Had a friend read Moroni 9:5  For so exceedingly do they anger that it seeme...

How many vapes can you fit in your pocket? Kia Ora Whanau! This week was a really good week! And yes i stuffed my pockets full of vapes at one point, so we will get straight into it! Tuesday: this day we had a few lessons with less actives. Craig, Ama, and Brownie are all working on coming back to church, but its slow progress with ama and craig sadly. Still, it was a good day and we got a lot done! Wednesday: this was our last district meeting for the transfer so we had crepes and played jeopardy in our district and went and had a district lunch after, so that was super fun! Then we contacted some people and tried to go over to this girls house who we had met last week and we had gave her a BoM, but she wasnt home 😢 i was bummed because she seemed keen on learning more. We are gonna keep trying tho.  We also had made a potential new friend! We are going to go back and hopefully they are still interested in the gospel! Then we had english class that night which was super fu...

The Rise of the Springs District🔥 Sawbona Unjani everyone? I am back from the dead. How about that General Conference?! Sheesh. I'll get to that later though.  It's been crazy this side of the Southern Hemisphere. As some of you know I'm currently a DT (District Trainer) so I'm training my son Elder Marzan while also being the District Leader of the Springs District. The funny part is that when this transfer was soon to start (4 weeks ago) I quite literally said "I sure hope President doesn't make me a DT"... guess God disagreed with that one.  It's been a Grind trying to work with this District. For some weird reason the District has been struggling in many aspects. But this past week was so miracle filled! As a District we made the decision to just give it our all and act in all Diligence and Trust God's plan and timing... we destroyed it in every way shape or form! We found so many people to teach and we had over 70% of our Recent Converts co...
