Am I living in a simulation??

This week was pretty good! There was a lot of funny stuff that went on, I cant wait to tell yous all about it!

Tuesday: We had our member friend Craig in the morning and he just talks for hours about when he thinks the second coming is. He also showed us a video where a Rabbi explained some end-time prophecies lol but we were able to watch pres nelsons talk with him and the spirit that between those 2 videos was crazy. The prophets words were so powerful compared to this other video 🤣( no offence to Mr. Rabbi.)

We had a mean dinner with our member friend Brownie. Fry bread and a lamb stew thing was goated. Its always fun with her!

Wednesday: we had our first DCM of the transfer haha. Which is funny because we are already almost halfway through. But with zone conference and the temple trip for the sisters, it was just hard to get together as a zone, but we made it happen this time. My zone is great! And we had a ton of fun playing an emoji BoM story guessing game haha. We also got lunch after and i had a chicken sandwich with donuts as buns for the sandwich lol so that was pretty crazy.

Sadly our lesson with jaydn fell thru which was disappointing because we had a member come and teach with us but jaydn never showed up lol. 

English class was good, juan was there so i was able to practice the little amount of spanish that i know. But juan is super funny and we had a great time.

Thursday: we went and did heart attacks with the sisters which was fun and a change of our regular schedule, so that was nice! We also went to the 7th day Adventist church to do a bible study 🤣. They were actually so nice, and even though we had to leave early, they gave us a NIV bible so that was huge

Friday: today was crazy funny! We got brunch with christine and antony, they are some less active members who like to feed us and they also run a food donation service, which is so cool. 

When we were contacting some people we arrived at our friend Aroha's house and her mom was parking when we got there. Apparently their dog had gotten out, so we went with them down the street to help look for their dog. The mom had found the dog and it was in someone's yard, when we got closer we saw that Aroha was in that house! We were so confused but apparently its her boyfriend's house and she's been staying there for a while (no wonder she is never home when we try and contact her 🤦‍♂️) 

Anywayssss, we talked with aroha and her mom. But while that was happening another friend of ours got out of aroha's moms car and started doing a drug deal (we think) with someone who was in the house that we found aroha at! There was also this crackhead lady across the street yelling at us while some neighborhood kids we knew were doing wheelies on our bikes in the middle of the road. It was so so wild. I felt like i was living in a simulation 🤣. 

After all that, we gave some food to Jaydn becuase he didnt get paid this week or something lol and we played a little bit of pickleball at the chapel before we went to a members house for dinner. But it turns out that the members actually were taking us to an all-you-can-eat mongolian grill place! That place was mean as.

Saturday: saturday was super interesting! We got to go to Craig's again, but this time we were going to hop on a zoom call with Travis Anderson! If you dont know him, he is just a member who is known on a facebook page that helps missionaries answer questions that are kind of complicated. The call was super good and really interesting! I think it really helped craig!

We had 2 lessons during the day that fell through :( but we tried some sport finding at the basketball courts, and im still trash at bball haha, hopefully I will have improved by the end of my mission.

That night we had a lesson with Jaydn, but he came to the lesson baked as (🥴🌱🚬). It was kind of annoying, but we just ended the lesson short and now that i look back, the only thing i can do is laugh about it haha.

Sunday: we went to a friend's house in the morning and he was out on the street trying to break in his own car 🤣. Apparently the car was dead and he was locked out, we tried for 30 mind but couldnt get it open, but it was funny. 

Church was good and we had dinner at s tongan members house, it was super good and i got super full lol. And that night we went to our friend Stanleys house and it was great, we had a great convo with him and his wife and the spirit was so strong!
