Over the course of my mission I have thoroughly enjoyed some of the words I have found in the Book of Mormon for example carbuncle! It sounds like a way to exclaim for a pirate! But in reality is a red gem! (Grateful for bible dictionary!) Anywayyyy let me know if you have any favorite words you've found in your scripture study recently! 

Besides gems found in scriptures there were some gems this week too that I would love to share with you:

This week we had a miracle in the form of a fellowshipper! In the lesson our friend shared with us that she did not know how to even start in reading the Book of Mormon and our member shared a beautiful testimony of her conversion through the Book of Mormon! It helped our friend to commit to reading the Book of Mormon for thirty minutes a day! Which if that was not enough they stayed after our thirty minute lesson and talked for an hour and a half more! Every person has a role in this work and I've loved seeing that in Taiwan!!

We were going into a finding session and feeling discouraged! We did not even know if we were in the right place! We persevered and kept opening our mouth! And not even ten minutes in, a lady walked out of her restaurant and we seized the opportunity to talk to her! She asked where the church was, asked when we could meet, and asked for our phone number! We stood there dumbfounded and walked away knowing that God is aware of His children! The ones in Taiwan searching for the gospel and the ones in Taiwan valiantly trying to spread this good news!

Other highlights:

🍖A ward activity where we went up to the mountains and barbequed! 

🍶a couple stopping us during knocking to give us water and American apples

🍪interviews with the mission pres where not only did I get a homemade chocolate chip cookie but president reminded me of the gift that God has given me in the form of a mission

🙏having the chance to teach someone on the street that God is aware of him and that he could even pray about his interview coming up!

It was a good week and I am serving a good God! 

It has been amazing to see the way that "God is in relentless pursuit of His Children" and He uses me to do it:

¶ Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

He is aware of all of His children and I have loved having a front row seat to watching our Good God reaching His hand out still! He is gathering His people and wants every one of them to have the opportunity to return! And the coolest thing is He invites us to be apart of it!!

He loves you and so do I!
