Been a minute🙃 Hello Fellow Children of God! It's been a hot freaking minute since I sent an email and I apologize. Things can get a little hectic out here in Bloemfontein South Africa.  This week was pretty hectic. To start our week we had a road trip to Joburg to go to the temple and then the next day, we met with the man himself Elder D. Todd Christopherson! I got to shake his hand and have lunch with him! But sadly I didn't take any photos with him because I felt weird doing it for some reason.😅 I've also had 3 titles so far in this 1 transfer! First I was a Junior Companion, then my Mission President said that was a mistake and that I am Senior Companion. And now after a few things go down I am now District Leader of Bloemfontein.  Although the work is a different level of hard out here in SA compared to Lesotho I have still managed to get 6 people baptized in the past 2 months! The field really is white and ready to harvest! We also recently put a family on date ...

Working on the U's🌻 Okay usually I don't describe my titles but today I'm going to because turns out plot twist is that u's have tails at the back of them?!?! What!! How did I go 19 years not knowing this?!?! See U <- no tail u <- tail!! Turns out though that if you write the u without the tail at ECG all of your above 60 Taiwan ladies will not be happy at you😋 Haha alrighty anyway HAPPY SUMMER!!  This is some of the highlights from this week:) - messaging a gray dot and him being willing to meet with us AND wants to come to activities  - Teaching our dinosaur tithing friend about God's love for him and him becoming friends with our member!  - our less active member that we have been meeting with for a long time CAME TO CHURCH!!! it was so happy to see how the ward was excited to see him and how happy he was when he came! There are so many miracles from going to church! - getting a flat tire on the way to a service activity with our senior missionaries and ...

The Last Dance ¡Hola a todos! What a week, lots of things happened with being sick, having transfers, and being in another area. So as always let's get right into it. Tuesday I was still recovering from the Flu but I had to say goodbye to Elder Fernandez. He had to go to the mission office so I stayed here in my area with another Elder. It was weird to say goodbye because I probably won't see him again. I stayed here in my apartment with Elder Abreu from Brazil. It was a blast but I was just super sick the whole time. Wednesday was a lot of the same, but I did feel a bit better so me and Elder Abreu cleaned the house so that it would be clean for my next comp. Then I we had to go to the other area, Coronel Oviedo, so that I could be with my district leader. Then they had a baptismal interview that they had to do, then we headed to their house. Thursday morning we got our transfer news. Obviously I got a new comp and his name is Elder Shulsen. He just finished his training. He ...

Do you speak ENGLISH ?! Hi my friends !!! Long time no see but I had to send an email because I'm getting transfered !  I'm leaving the small town of arras up further north to lille, which is a big college town !  Moving back into a quad (4 Sister appartement) so that'll be à blast :) The title should be read in a strong British accent as loud as you can without screamking.  That's what à British lady came in to order behind me in a bakery and then she ordered a bottle of water :) Ran a bunch of mileage this week to finish the transfer strong with sœur Robinson :) Ran our 4th 8 mile run of the transfer this morning hehe Love you God loves you I'm going to miss arras :') Sœur Koger

It shouldn't sound like a whale🪲🪲 Alohhha! Guess what my sister got married this week! What?!?! Don't worry though the Lord's got us covered though so here are some of the things that happened this week! - we biked to our new members house and taught him about the word of wisdom while eating his mysterious cake... with cheese sprinkled on top🤔🎂 I thought it was a very interesting combo haha he's awesome though - we had a lesson with our friend I'm going to call Jane! However we don't know if Jane actually has interest but she left our group chat and then asked if we would put our back in so we will see what happens with Jane this week! - We got to meet with our member referral and she is actually the coolest! It was such a good lesson and she really has been prepared.  - because of construction we biked an hour to get to our finding spot but it was actually such a vibe just biking through fields and hoping the random dogs won't decide to attack❤️❤️ But ...

¡Vamos Neri! ¡Haupei a todos! What a week. That's all I can say. We were crazy busy doing tons of things. I'm just going to go day by day and let the chaos unfold. Tuesday was a super good day. Here in Paraguay it really is starting to cool off. This week it was nice and chilly. 50-60 degrees all week. I was able to do exchanges with my district leader here in Villarrica which was a blast. His name is Elder Radcliffe and he's from New Mexico. I had such a blast with him. We were able to put three of our friends on baptismal date so we'll see how that goes. Wednesday we went back to my district leader's because his comp wasn't feeling too good. That meant I had to travel quite a bit. Other than that it was a chill day. Thursday was a bit crazy because we got to travel to Asunción! That's about five hours from where I'm at but it was a blast. We got to go travel with two zones in one bus. It was such a blast. The first time I'd seen other missionarie...

Our kids and Stacy's siblings went to the Laie Temple Aloha Friends and Family, Wow, mission life is clipping by at a fast pace, we have four months left. We have been so blessed by our service here in the Laie mission. I can't begin to express the goodness of so many students, local members, senior, and junior missionaries who love to serve people from all over the world.  Today we had a baptism for a young man from Hong Kong named Makist. He came to BYU-H to attend college and he said that he really didn't understand why he came to BYU-H at first because he had no intention of joining the church. He has been here four years and said that as he has observed how happy everyone is and how much good they are doing, it was time to talk to the missionaries. He said his heart has changed and he loves everyone for not giving up on him. There were kids from all over the world at his baptism and the spirit was so strong. We feel blessed to have this opportunity to serve here in L...

Hello my friends and family! It's been awhile again since I've sent a group email but I wanted all of you to know I am thriving and enjoying the mission to the fullest extent! This will be a shorter email but I'll add more pictures and update you through those as well. We had transfers in April and I stayed here in the Texas Tech YSA for my fifth transfer! My new companion is Elder Brockbank. He is amazing and is from Salem Utah which is not too far from my hometown of Springville. I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with him earlier this year and he is such a diligent Elder and a good friend to me. I will hype him up all day and he is the best person to be capping off this amazing adventure in the YSA. We just went into summer break and are grinding until the summer semester starts. We have seen many miracles and I will share them with you as we go throughout the weeks. Shoutout to all our members who went home for the summer, Liset, Sarah, Sophia, Ethan, Jared, T...

Long-suffering ¡Hola, hola, hola hermosa gente! This week was a good one! I didn't get sick so that's a huge plus. This whole week I was just trying to kick the sickness I had, but that's ok. This week we saw some good miracles, but also some set backs. Tuesday was a super fun day. We went to Oviedo to have our district council. After that we had our interviews with President Faúndez. He brought us Burger King to eat so that was pretty awesome. We all got interviewed which I always love. After that he drove us back to Villarrica. That was such a blast because we were able to talk to President Faúndez for an hour in the car so that was awesome. Then we had a fun family home evening with an awesome family in the branch. Wednesday was a good day too. We were able to do some really good contacting online because we have like two hundred referrals from the last month and we get about five or six everyday so sometimes we just have to focus and send a ton of messages and do some ...

Turning 42?? 💗 MY COMP TURNED 24 HEHE OR 42🥳🥳 HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! I loved being in Taiwan for mother's day because it's one of the few holidays that Taiwan and America both celebrate 🥳 It was cool to see how excited everyone was for it! I'm very thankful for my Mom and for all the women in my life! Whether it be my young women leaders or my Taiwan mothers they have all impacted my life forever💗 EMBRACE THE BLESSINGS! This week during personal study I was thinking about my family and friends and how much I missed them and then as I kept reading I remembered all that the lord was giving me right now and it was such a spiritual moment as the Lord told me to Embrace the Blessings! The Lord really is pouring down blessings but sometimes we want to be sad or we dont understand so we put up our umbrella and we miss out! So this week my goal is to put away my umbrella and jump in the rain:) Here's some blessings and miracles that happened this week💗 AWKWO TACO This week ...

Greater Things Prepared 4/29/24  ¡Haupeiiiii! What a week everybody! Time is flying by and I'm loving my time here in Villarrica! Well let's just get right into the week! Last P-Day was a blast. We stayed here in Villarrica but the thing is we went to a little town outside of Villarrica. It's like the center for a traditional type of clothes or design called Ao Po'i. I bought lots of souvenirs and fun things so I'm very happy with that. Tuesday we had an awesome district council where we talked about having hungry souls or being hungry to work and helps others come unto Christ. We then went and talk some families where not everyone are members so those were some fun lessons! Then we finished with a family night eating some good food. Wednesday, let's just say my stomach decided to attack me. Thursday I was still recuperating in the morning but by the afternoon I was ok. We did our weekly planning and then went and did our visits. We were able to talk with an act...

I just saw my sister ! 5/6/24 Bonjour everyone! I hope you're all doing so well   Spiritual thought I made in French to answer one of our friends questions, So if the scriptures aren't exact I just put what I sent her in French into Google translated English and that's why lol God's purpose is for us to return to being with Them and it's for us to be happy.  《For this is my work and my glory: to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man.》  Moses 1:39  https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/pgp/moses/1?id=p39&lang=eng#p39  But you can't return to be with Them in Their perfect sta...

We don't say pigu 🤔😁 Things that happened this week - It rained a lot! But Sister Wang 王姐妹 is teaching me a Chinese rain song so catch me singing in the rain preaching the gospel🤸‍♀️💗 - we biked a lot but turns out biking 30 minutes going up and down hills is a lot easier when you have air in your tires🚴‍♀️😁 But no worries sometimes the Lord knows you need stronger spiritual strength and stronger thigh strength 💪  - we tried to have a lesson with our friend but instead he took us to dinner with our senior couples... BUT then we sneakily asked if we could share a scripture and he said yes! And we taught him a little of the plan of salvation and asked if we could teach him again and he said yes! But hopefully next time there won't be chicken feet😅 -tried chicken feet for the first time... why is that even a food??? Oh and chicken heart, pig liver and pig heart... wow I forgot how much weird food I've eaten this week until I wrote that out but yeah it was interesting...
