 ¡Vamos Neri!

¡Haupei a todos!

What a week. That's all I can say. We were crazy busy doing tons of things. I'm just going to go day by day and let the chaos unfold.

Tuesday was a super good day. Here in Paraguay it really is starting to cool off. This week it was nice and chilly. 50-60 degrees all week. I was able to do exchanges with my district leader here in Villarrica which was a blast. His name is Elder Radcliffe and he's from New Mexico. I had such a blast with him. We were able to put three of our friends on baptismal date so we'll see how that goes.

Wednesday we went back to my district leader's because his comp wasn't feeling too good. That meant I had to travel quite a bit. Other than that it was a chill day.

Thursday was a bit crazy because we got to travel to Asunción! That's about five hours from where I'm at but it was a blast. We got to go travel with two zones in one bus. It was such a blast. The first time I'd seen other missionaries other than my district in over five weeks. It was a super solid recharge of my social battery. Then we got to explore a mall for a bit and eat there which was fun. Then I slept in the mission office with a ton of other Elders.

Friday was the day of zone conference. Right before zone conference we got to meet two new senior couples in our missions. The Allens and the Wattcotts. They all speak amazing Spanish and it was so fun to get to know them. They are both from Arizona, and Elder Allen served in Paraguay so that's awesome! Then we had our zone conference with all the zones that are super far away from Asunción. Our focus during the conference was The Book of Mormon. We learned so much about how we can use it better and how we can personally grow our testimony more. One quote would be that we aren't markers of The Book of Mormon but doers of The Book of Mormon. Again it was awesome to see tons of friends, and many for the last time. We then traveled back to our areas. It was a little crazy getting back. We ended up walking into our apartment at about 10:30 at night. It was a very long day.

Saturday was super crazy as well. Here's where on one of the biggest twists comes in. I woke up with a nasty cough and a super upset stomach. My comp didn't have a cough but he had a super upset stomach too. Well we had work to do still because we had a baptism. It was a crazy good, tough, difficult, fun, sick day. I had to stop the bus so that I could use the bathroom because I was dying. Then we made it. Ate some lunch. Died a little bit more. Walked to the church and we had the wedding at two. It was so much fun! There were lots of people there to support and celebrate. Then right after we had Neri's baptism! They don't have a font here so we went to a river close by. It was such a cool experience and he was so happy.

Sunday we woke up early to have someone drive us to Paso Yobai to attend church there. My stomach wasn't as bad at this time but my cough and cold symptoms were a lot worse. We made it to church. It was pretty crazy because it was 100% in Guaraní. I couldn't understand anything. Only the words they would say in Spanish I understood. I was able to confirm Neri which was just super cool. Hopefully people could understand what I said because I did it in Spanish. After that we ate a good lunch. It was super chilly and I was feeling it super strong as well because I was feeling sicker by the moment. Then we went home and I crashed. I slept for about three hour and I woke up and a had a fever of 101 degrees so that wasn't fun. I took some medicine to help and I got a blessings from my comp and I slept decently well at night.

Today was just a little crazy and not too fun. I woke up and I was using the bathroom and I almost passed out. So we headed to the hospital to get some tests. Got the results and I have the Flu so that's fun. I'm taking a ton of medicine for that.

Throughout all this craziness and me getting sick all I can say is that I am crazy grateful. Honestly I have nothing to complain or be frustrated with. We had an amazing experience with the wedding and the baptism and that's all I could ask for.

That's it for this crazy week! I hope you all have an amazing week! Love you all!

¡Chau!

Love, Elder Acor
