 The Last Dance

¡Hola a todos!

What a week, lots of things happened with being sick, having transfers, and being in another area. So as always let's get right into it.

Tuesday I was still recovering from the Flu but I had to say goodbye to Elder Fernandez. He had to go to the mission office so I stayed here in my area with another Elder. It was weird to say goodbye because I probably won't see him again. I stayed here in my apartment with Elder Abreu from Brazil. It was a blast but I was just super sick the whole time.

Wednesday was a lot of the same, but I did feel a bit better so me and Elder Abreu cleaned the house so that it would be clean for my next comp. Then I we had to go to the other area, Coronel Oviedo, so that I could be with my district leader. Then they had a baptismal interview that they had to do, then we headed to their house.

Thursday morning we got our transfer news. Obviously I got a new comp and his name is Elder Shulsen. He just finished his training. He started the mission with one of my of comps who I trained, Elder Havili. He's super awesome, he's twenty, but I'm still younger than him. He's from South Jordan, Utah as well. Then the rest the day my district leader packed to leave and me and Elder Pickett were together.

Friday me and Elder Pickett were still chilling together. We were just waiting for our new comps to get to Oviedo. Elder Shulsen finally made it and then we had to take the hour long bus ride to Villarrica. I took advantage and got to know him super well. We are honestly super similar and I'm very excited that I get to have my last transfer with him. At night we went and visited our branch mission leader so that was fun!

Saturday was such an adventure like always because we went to Paso Yobai! It was super chilly, and to get there the bus took almost twice as long. We went and ate half of a chicken at our Elders Quorum president's house. Literally cut half of a grilled chicken and gave us each a half, it was a lot of food. Then we went and left with him to go work. It was super cold so that was super awesome honestly. We got to get some good work in. We are hoping to have another wedding/baptism there this week so I'm very excited.

Sunday was a fun day. We got to go to church and it was super cold. The tempature is dropping here and I love it. We got to also have a nice little family night with one of my favorite families here so that Elder Shulsen could get to know them.

It's super crazy to think that I'm in my last transfer. It weird to think that the mission really comes to an end. I'm trying my best to do my best. Something that President Faúndez says, and many others, is that our best is different every single day. I'm trying my best to make everyday count and help this area. There is a lot of work to do here so I'm trying my best to help God do some pretty amazing miracles here.

That's everything from this crazy week. I'm happy that I'm not sick and I'm happy that I have this time left in my mission with Elder Shulsen! Thank you all so much for reading my email! Love you all so much!

¡Chau!

Love, Elder Acor
