MY COMP TURNED 24 HEHE OR 42🥳🥳

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! I loved being in Taiwan for mother's day because it's one of the few holidays that Taiwan and America both celebrate 🥳 It was cool to see how excited everyone was for it! I'm very thankful for my Mom and for all the women in my life! Whether it be my young women leaders or my Taiwan mothers they have all impacted my life forever💗

EMBRACE THE BLESSINGS!

This week during personal study I was thinking about my family and friends and how much I missed them and then as I kept reading I remembered all that the lord was giving me right now and it was such a spiritual moment as the Lord told me to Embrace the Blessings! The Lord really is pouring down blessings but sometimes we want to be sad or we dont understand so we put up our umbrella and we miss out! So this week my goal is to put away my umbrella and jump in the rain:)

Here's some blessings and miracles that happened this week💗

AWKWO TACO

This week we went to the train station to find and I got sick of the normal conversations so I decided to mix it up a little😋 But we started talking to this girl and it was SO awkward because she wouldn't talk back haha so please imagine your already awkward Sister Cheyenne talking to herself basically as she talks to this college student while her companion is looking at Sister Cheyenne wondering if this conversation could get more awkward when all of a sudden! Duh duh duh the college student speaks up and asks if she can add our line and wants to meet?!?! What! As my old friend would say it's not awkward if you don't make it awkward🥳 but mostly I know that I wouldn't have kept awkwardly talking to her if the Lord hadn't given me the prompting to keep talking to her!

At the beginning of finding this week Sister Wang said a prayer and asked that we would be able to have a conversation and then find a new friend but in the middle of the prayer she changed it to two conversations and one new friend. I was a little confused because we had about 40 minutes and 2 conversations was really small but then we talked to one person and then met another guy who we had a really long conversation with and we asked if we could share more and he said YES!! It was crazy how the exact thing she prayed for happened. But really it just shows how God really is in charge of this work and I love love being able to watch God lead us to all the miracles! 

 Later in the week we meet with him and we teach him about why we have the Plan of Salvation and he told us that his wife passed away last year and when we asked what he thought about the plan of salvation he said he was so excited. It was such a spiritual lesson and I know the lord really is aware of Him! 

Anyway those are two of the people we met this week but it's been really cool because we have found people with interest almost every day this week and that NEVER happens! I know that the lord answers prayers and His work is going to keep going forward no matter what! Even though some days are hard and I miss home a lot, being a missionary and being a part of the Lord's work has brought me so much happiness and peace that I don't think anything else could give💗
