Rough first day for new Comp Kia ora e te whanau!  This week was transfers! I got a new comp, his name is elder cox. Hes been out for a bit now so the work should be good. The area is coming along pretty good. He had a rough first day out in the area, but ill get into that later lol. - on tuesday we went to an early lesson with a lady named jess. We taught her a little and then reffered her to the missionaries in her area, turns out shes already a member lol even tho she said shes never been baptized - we also went to a members home and taught some of the unbaptized kids there. They were pretty wild but it was fun - we ended the day and we got transfer news that I would be staying in mangere and my comp would be leaving - Wednesday morning we had a district meeting and then we all got lunch together. We went to a nice burger place and played some chess. - nothing else exciting happened except some packing for elder dougherty  - thursday we got ready and dogherty got pick...

🪴NO HANDS🌋 Hello!  This week we made the most new friends and  the most lessons with members that I've ever had my whole mission!! It's been so so cool to see how the lord is hastening his work and I have loved really feeling the spirit and testifying of Jesus Christ!  Here are some of my favorite lessons this week! 1. We have been meeting with 3 kids and their Grandma and they are so cute!! The coolest thing was teaching them how to pray! Sister Ward would say a sentence and all 3 of them would repeat and the spirit was so strong it was so cool! I also love teaching them because 2 of them are twins and it reminds me of my twin and how much I miss her!! It's been really sad this week to realize that I can't say my sister lives in Taibei anymore😥 BUT it's okay because I'll see her in 3 weeks🌻 2. We have been talking about baptism in every single lesson recently and it really has changed my whole mission and teaching style! It's crazy to see how much we ...

continue ye in my love. Whenever one of our new members talk about missionaries who have gone home she calls them past tense missionaries. And in T-minus SO SOON that will be me (AHHHHH cue every emotion that has ever been felt on the surface of the planet) It is impossible to put all the things I have learned, felt, and seen in one email. So lets see how this goes, buckle in for a long email: 🤍Love, Joy, and the Atonement🤍 This week we had a lesson and we were teaching about the plan of salvation otherwise known as the plan of happiness. When we asked if she had any questions she asked what does happiness and joy really mean? And as I explained to her what I thought it meant I realized that the joy God wants to give to us is completely connected to love.  D&C 18: 10,13 10 Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God; 13 And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth! Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy ...
