| I have not given up |
I am so grateful for the birth of my Savior and that every December we get to celebrate it!! Send me all your favorite ways to celebrate Christmas! 🎄🤶🎅🌲
But this week was Thanksgiving and I also want to express my thanks to God because wow this week eas miracle filled! And if I havent said it before Im going to say it now! GOD IS SO GOOD!!
This week was oh so full of tender mercies! The verse that says oh how great your joy in bringing one soul to repentance in D&C 18:16 was very real!
🌻One of them included friend we used to teach who I think about often, and feel like I failed her. She hasn't really been responding to us and I wasnt sure what I could to help! But God being who he is had a perfect plan we went to Starbucks because it was BOGO (because the baseball team won) and standing next to me was a girl I though was that friend! Naturally we followed her and when I got out the courage to call put her name it was her! She didn't set up with us again and she did not come to church! But she did tell us she hadn't given up and through God I knew that God had also not given up on Daisy, he had a perfect plan! I cannot fail because God is on my team 🌻
Another miracle came in the form of a fellowshipper for a lesson. I could not find a peike so I randomly called on a less active member who the elders were supposed to eat with that day! It seemed like it was going crazy and when I invited him to read Alma 7:11-13 I thought I messed up as reading seemed a little painful! But God being the perfect God He is had a perfect plan! And our friend sat in tears as she felt of Gods love for her through this 大哥 who reminded her of her father who had passed away last year! There is no such thing as coincidences with God
And honestly SO MANY MORE!
The biggest of all is our friend Lisa who chose to get baptized this week in freezing water! And bore her testimony that faith comrs theough small experiences so small but so constant that we cannot deny it!
And thays how I want to end! Because oh there have been so many small tender mercies that I could never deny! God is in the details of my life! And of the lives of the people in Taiwan! And He loves all of His Children!!
And He loves you
And so do I!!!! Go out there and see those tender mercies and read Alma 7:11-13! Because God is out there and Jesus loves you! Never forget it
