Hey you allll! How's it going! Good luck to everyone with school starting or started! 加油

Did you know I love being in Taiwan with my whole heart? here are a few of my reasons🫶🇹🇼

This week as we were biking home and trying to stop everyone on our bikes (turns out to be hard, hard, hard) we started talking to this lady on this bike! We talked for a little bit and then she said let me treat you! She pulled out the stuff that she had literally just bought at the 7 and gave it to us! Including milk and bread! Thats not all though Later that week we stopped this lady who radiated love! She had no interest in hearing our message but as she turned to walk away she said do you want bread? And then pulled out the bread she had just bought at the bakery! I love bread, I love the people here, I love God!

🍞Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price🥛

If I were to describe this week I could probably use one word: finding. We went finding in the sunshine and the rain. Morning, noon, and night. Talked to people who were Buddhist, Christian, and Atheist. From Taiwan and America! And the minutes blended into hours and the hours into days of finding! It has been grand! And oh so tiring! But the best moment of all happened in the aforementioned rain! It had just been pouring and we were finding near restaurants! We passed this guy who was ordering food who kept looking at us! he was ordering food though so we walked past him! My companion, being led by the spirit, was like we should go talk to him! So we went. His name was Eddy and all of his looks back at us and the prompting of the spirit led us to talk to him and on Friday he met with us to develop His relationship with God :) He has been a miracle we needed! To help us see that hours of finding will always be worth it because there are those who are being spiritually prepared by the Lord! It really is finding time not persuading time or talking time! There are people who are ready and I'm so grateful God gives me this opportunity to go find the people he is preparing in Taiwan who are ready! Including Eddy!!

💡🕯🔦For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations... who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it. Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven💡🕯🔦

Other reasons besides free bread and elect people:

📖 Zone conference where we talked about exactly what I've been wanting to improve on!! 

🚴‍♀️the fact I get to bike everyday

🍲the six course meal our member qinged us too (still in a daze on how good it was)

And so many other reasons! Let me just end with this scripture I read this week and loved

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater (Isaiah 55: 8-10)

I just want to testify that God's plan for our lives is different and definitely harder than we could imagine! And yet it is exactly what we need! Because it is also better than we could even imagine! He is doing a marvelous work with the whole world but also in the little details of our lives! As we trust him and think celestial! Life will be just grand!

PS it is my best friend, doubles partner, duet player, buff lady who got me to exercise, lifelong buddy, 姐姐｀s birthday this week and I don't even get to see her 😭 but I am so grateful I get to be doing this with her! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHEYENNE! Go convert the other half of Taiwan!
