I reread my email last week and it was filled with spelling and grammar errors! So I am sorry! This week I will try to be better but no promises because both my English and Chinese ability seem to be nonexistant! So 加油 you all are heroes for reading these!


 💚 Kathryn 💚 

This story is for all my missionary friends out there! We have a recent convert her name is Kathryn! She asked us if we faced a lot of rejection and we told her we did! She said before she was baptized she was standing next to a guy and the elders went and talked to him he rejected them and she was pleading in her head that they would come talk to her but they just walked away! So probably about a year ago she decided if the missionaries were not going to find her she would find them, she came to english group and at the end asked how she could join our church and she got baptized about 8 months ago (I was actually here for her baptism) so team do not forget! There are people out there ready! Do not let one persons (or maybe hundreds of peoples) rejection keep you from ministering to everyone!!

This one is for Cheyenne and Mariah (because she missed it on the family call)! When I came back to MuZha, Kathryn remembered me which was such a tender mercy and this week she went to fsy!! And you know who else was at fsy!? Cheyenne! You will have to go look at Cheyenne's email to hear about it from her point of view but Kathryn just so happened to be in Cheyennes group and they got to talk! So even if it feels like forever since I have seen Cheyenne and forever until I will see her again! Kathryn saw both of this week!! and bore her testimony in church about how it was God's plan for her to meet Cheyenne and have that connection! What a cool tender mercy


The rest of the week speed round:

♡interviews with the president and his wife and them saying exactly what I needed to hear!

♡Stephanie moved up her baptism date and is getting baptized in three weeks!!

♡I got overexcited in a lesson because Ammon in the Book of Mormon is just too cool

♡somebody giving us money while finding...

♡a lady we ran into three times in three different places preached, I think her, whole gospel to us!

♡playing the animal noise game (what the heck is a whale noise?) And my companion having our president make a cicada noise

♡bearing testimony of eternal families! I love my family!

♡we went to the zoo!! And I learned that the way you say gorilla is the same way you say star in Chinese and the characters are also very similar

This month I am studying faith so if you have anything you've learned about faith recently send it my way! But I do just want to share something I have learned! It comes from these two quotes

"Faith is a principle of action and power"

"Preach the gospel at all times, if necessary use words"

Faith is action motivated! It is about those daily prayers and scripture study! Even when you don't want to! It is about standing up for someone! And loving everyone! It is about living what you believe! And not only living but choosing everyday to believe! And as you do that you share the gospel! And give others the same chance to "glorify God" which is the best life!


He loves you and so do I!

  7/21/25 Sorry i dont have much time tonight. This week was amazing.  - temple on tuesday was awesome - healing from my infection in my leg and im cleared to still go to raro on thursday - lots of lessons this week - exchanges with the APs - lots of spirit felt and testimony grown of the saviors atonement  - ward conference - amazing lesson to set a baptismal date with your friend nate - district FHE with mission president and his wife to celebrate us winning in our challenge this transfer As a mission we just hit our baptismal goal for 3 transfers in a row now. With the goal increasing drastically each transfer. It is amazing to see the Lord progressing his work here in auckland and i feel very blessed to be a part of it. I gave had a strong testimony building week and i am on a spiritual high. I really want to keep this going and keep relying on the lord in all things! I have loved this transfer and the many hardships have made it a very special transfer in my mission....

 Bike Problems Kia Orana Sorry i got no time for this email. This week was awesome as always. We found lots of new people which is always exciting. We had lots of bike problems this weekend and i also crashed on the bike lol. Anyways, in keen for this next upcoming week. We are gonna be pushing yo get a lot of ppl at sacrament so they can see the blessings that come from it! I'm loving my area, the branch is awesome, everyone is so sweet and God is good! Ka kite!

  Happy Tuesday morning!! ☀️☀️ it’s a lovely day so far:) Ok! So here’s an experience I have been feeling like I want to share with you all: Maybe a week ago? Ish? I was in the temple for to do initiatories. I can’t remember if I had an appointment or I was just walking in… I think I was just walking in.  The PCC temple has a really good system for helping people who walk in w/out an appointment be able to do initiatories. However after they got my name and all that jazz they asked me to sit in the front area where the desk is instead of in the back near the booths bc the benches back there were full. This was sorta upsetting to me, I had gone that day really hoping to be able to feel the spirit. But being up there near the desk meant I had to try and tune out all the happenings and chatting there. Recently I’ve discovered that when I’m anxious I can get pretty sound sensitive. So if there’s any noise going on it can completely overwhelm me with anxious thoughts.  I start...
