Utah Street

What's poppin people of Gmail! Once again the great coming of an Elder Hennessey email has arrived! Boy do we got a fun one for ya!

As you may be wondering what am I talking about, When it comes to Utah street?

That ladies and gentlemen is the name I'm giving this one street because we are pretty much baptizing the whole street! It full of members now!  The real name is Phola Park (Pull-a-park). And this street has a wild backstory.

So this story begins with a member referral. We came to church a few months back and a member came to us with 3 referrals for us. It was these 3 friends and they lived in a township quite far away from us. Long story short, we start to teach these 3 sisters and they were very elect. One of them her name is Lerato explained to us through time that she used to attend the church in another ward in Thaba Nchu. She was being taught by the missionaries and she was actually on date for baptism. But for whatever reason she left and she hadn't gone to church ever since.

 Later down the road years later, she comes to this side of bloem and she then sees the chapel and she tells herself. She needs to go to church at some point but she never comes. Then one night she got robbed. They stole her car and everything else that she had. She tried stopping taxis and no one would pick her up to take her to the Police station. Then there was a member who is actually a cop. And he had the prompting to speak to lerato. He helps her out with everything and helps her get to the Police station and then he disappears. Then days later he sees her at her Hair Salon that she owns. And for some whatever reason, they started talking about church.  And she mentioned about how she used to go to the church, but she stopped going and then that member explained that that was the church he went to. So he invited her to go and that he would take her to church. So then we meet these 3 sisters. Lerato, Bonolo and Boitumelo. Long story short. Lerato Got baptized and then later motivated her husband to also get baptized. As well as Bonolo got baptized. Bonolo and Lerato are now in the Relief Society Presidency. 

When Lerato's husband got baptized his testimony was all about "moving the work forward". Bro literally sounded like a bishop. (His name is Kofi) Kofi has also referred many of his friends who live in Phola Park. 2 of them are now getting baptized in the next 2 weeks! As well as Lerato and Kofis son Raymond!

To add the cherry on top. The third friend Boitumelo just got baptized with her 2 kids! So all from this one member referall we will have a total of 2 families and 4 Priesthood holders in one street!

I know this was a very messy email. But it's a very deep miracle that I have seen in the past few months. There's a lot more miracles inside of this one miracle, but I will save that for another time so if you ever want to know more, just hit me up.

Anyways... I know this is the Lord's work. He truly loves us and he knows each and everyone of us. He knows where his children are and he knows their heart.
