 He'll Always Forgive Us

¡Haupeiiiiii!

What a week, for sure a weird one. Like I said my comp was sick last Sunday. Well that proceeded to get worse and that led us being stuck at home all week. Legit all week, but don't worry I got somethings to talk about.

Alright so Tuesday is when it all went down. My comp woke up throwing up at 5:30 in the morning. We had our district council online while my comp was dying a little bit. Then we headed to the hospital with some members. Thank goodness we went with these members because they were a huge help. My comp got hooked up to an IV and they took his blood which was really difficult because he has such small vains. Then, sorry too much information but it's necessary, he had to poop in a cup. Lots of fun experiences and it was my comps first experience in a hospital here in Paraguay. It was such an adventure. Also seeing all the things in a hospital gets me super excited to start studying to be nurse. We headed home while we waited for all the results. They had my comp keep the needle for the IV in his arm because it was so hard to put it in the first place. So we headed back and got all the results and they gave him six different medicines to take. Turns out he had the stomach flu.

Well, that's the most eventful thing that's happened this week. I had some solid studies and some cool experiences that I'll share later on. I also got to try some new take out places so that was fun. I also did some awesome online contacting and found some good ways for people to respond to us. When I did my laundry I accidently put a black sock with my whites and bleached it. This week was boring but honestly I kept a good attitude and it wasn't awful.

Sunday we had some miracles! We got ready and headed to church. We both got to give talks which was awesome. My topic was on the sabbath day. I think it went very well. I talked for a little over 18 minutes because there weren't many people to give talks, so I had lots of time. Super cool to think that I can give a talk that long in another language. I've truly come a very long way since I've started the mission. Right towards the end of the meeting I got a text on messenger from a missionary who finished his mission over a year and a half ago. His name was Elder Servin. He told me that someone he had taught when he served here in Villarrica had come to church, which was over three years ago. Sure enough there was someone I didn't recognize so I talked to her and found out it it was her. Her names Nelida. She's honestly super awesome and wants to keep coming to church. Such a miracle after not being able to do much during the whole week. It was awesome.

Alright cool spiritual truths that I received this week. I was washing the dishes listening to youth music and one song had the lyrics that said "He asked God to forgive them, when He died on Calvary". For some reason that truth just hit me like a truck. I thought if Jesus can forgive the people that crucified him while literally being in the act of being crucified I can he forgiven. It's hard when I make mistakes because sometimes I feel like I'm showing God I don't love him, but I really do! I'm just an imperfect person that's all. Truly thinking that Jesus can, and wants to forgive everyone is such an amazing truth. I love the atonement of Christ so much and I love that I can always learn more about it everyday.

That's everything for this quite uneventful week, but still it wasn't awful. Again I want to say thank you to everyone that reaches out and talks to me! It means the whole world to me! Have an amazing week everyone!

¡Chau!
Love, Elder Acor
