The cake turned into a steamed egg. So sad

TRANSFERS
Transfers happened this week! We had 9 sisters and 1 Elder go home and it was so so sad! These missionaries changed my mission and really helped me know who I wanted to be as a missionary so it was sad!

BUT this week I figured out... I'm still in Nantun!!!! I'm so so so happy to be here still❤️

LESSONS
We had some really good lessons this week! The best one was with our friend who came to church last week! Turns out while she was at church she kept feeling like she needed to go home... well turns out her whole house filled up with smoke while she was gone! Luckily her cats didn't die and she is still willing to meet with us! I think that's a miracle haha😅

FINDING
This week while finding a lady dragged us into her apartment and made us take sweaters because it's too cold! I promise we tried to refuse haha. But it was a huge tender mercy because it was really cold and windy that night and we didn't have any jackets 🥶 Unfortunately she also was Buddhist and so we also got told we needed to repent and become vegetarian so that we wouldn't become cats in the next life🙂 I really do know that it was a tender mercy to meet this lady though haha!

CHURCH
This was my favorite Sunday ever!!! We had a young adult come into church just because she was interested 🫨 I really thought that was just in the stories that they do that but it happened and we set a time to meet with her and I'm SO EXCITED!! Our friend that came also loved it and said that she wanted to know about what the spirit was!! Talking about the spirit is one of my favorite things because the spirit is how I KNOW it's true! It's how we know God really does live and how God speaks with us!

BUT THEN
Remember when I told you all the way in December about how we met someone from the Philippines who had been raised in the church but then hadn't been able to go back and forgot a lot?!? Well we randomly texted her this week and she responded and said she was just gonna text us and that we would see her on Sunday at church!! So we went to the English branch and the Philipeans LOVED her and it was so cool that they were all able to speak tagalog together! It was such a tender mercy to see someone be so loved and welcomed and really just know that this is God's plan!

My thought this week is that God really does have a plan for you and He really does have opportunities waiting for you! So I want you all to pray for the opportunity to serve someone today! And then I promise you will get the chance and then you can email me and tell me all about it! Haha I can't wait to see how much good you can all do!

I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! DONT FORGET IT!!
