 Trials and Effort

¡Hola, Hola, Hola!

I don't even know what to write about this week. It was a super difficult week with a couple or tender mercies to keep me going.

On and off this week I've been sick. I must have eaten something or drunken something that made my stomach super upset. I've been struggling with that this week and it's not fun at all. Even the days we could work I felt like I but all my effort in to try and have members work with us and try to find new people to teach but everything fell through. On top of everything this week it was hot. Lowest it got this week even at night was 93 degrees. The maximum it hit would be around 115 or 120 degrees. That's not just for a couple of minutes. That's for the whole afternoon, so that hasn't been helping me with my sickness.

This week on the handful of days we could week we were able to put two friends on date. There names are Micaela and Alanis. Alanis is about 16 and Micaela is about 25. They are both super awesome and we hope they can progress and see the difference that the gospel makes in their lives.

We also had zone conference which I always love. We talked about the importance of having the holy ghost in all of our lesson. It was super powerful. I also love being able to see all my mission friends as well. We went back to our area in an hour long bus ride crammed with people with out air conditioning in about 115 degree weather. I don't recommend it. Unless you want to look like you just went swimming when getting off the bus, go for it.

I hit 20 months as missionary today which is super crazy for me. I have about three and half months left in the mission which blows my mind. I love the mission. Even if it kicks my trash every, single, day. It's helping me grow and I still have a long ways to grow.

Well as you could tell this was a tough week, so any inspirational comments would be appreciated. I hope you all have an amazing week!

¡Adíos!
Love, Elder Acor

First of all, I was shocked to hear that you only have 3.5 months left of your mission! I appreciate your honesty in your posts. First that you love your mission. Even if it "kicks your trash every single day." Hang in there no matter what. Looking back when it's over, the shining moments are the one you'll remember the most.! ☼
