 Open the pickles!


HAPPY LANTERN FESTIVAL!! This was two days ago but now you know this holiday exists! I hope you all are doing grand wherever you are and hope you know I LOVE YOU! 

FINDING
We went finding and saw our amitofo (I know I'm spelling this wrong but that's okay) friend! We just went to say hi because we know he doesn't have interest but then he went and slowly reached out and touched Sister Eisermann's eye!! I think we were both in a trance because we both let it happen! But then as I was laughing I moved his hand away. It literally killed me. Honestly Sister Skinner should definitely work on her protecting companion skills. 🫣

LESSONS
This week we had lots of lessons! We met with our recent convert and she is seriously a hero! It was such a miracle to be able to talk to her again and explain the importance of prayer! We also met with a bujiji member who may have just roasted us the whole time but it's okay. Sometimes you need to be roasted. We also invited one of our friends to pray about baptism! That was a huge step but it was definitely a spirit led lesson!

LANTERN FESTIVAL WARD PARTY
Our ward had a lantern festival party and it was SO fun! We invited one of our friends that we only meet with online and man when she is in person she is a TOTALLY different person! After every single lesson it's easy to wonder why she wants to meet with us again🤨 BUT when we saw her in person we started talking and she wanted to take us hiking and then she said "我很喜歡你們‘’ meaning she likes us!! It was crazy and then our other friend came and they became best friends! It was so fun having a party with them listening to the ward go up and say riddles because that's apparently what you do on the lantern festival day! I really didnt understand at all what they were saying (a lot of it was in Taiwanese) BUT we would just cheer and say encore and it was so fun! I love Nantun with all my heart and the ward here has truly started to feel like home. 

CHURCH
This week in order to help a 5 year old and her mom come to the second hour of church we went to primary for the first 15 minutes!! Why is primary so much fun? We sang I'm trying to be like Jesus and it was so spiritual and powerful. 

DONT GIVE UP
Alma 32:40 And thus, if ye will not nourish the word, looking forward with an eye of faith to the fruit thereof, ye can never pluck of the fruit of the tree of life

I read this verse this week and it meant so much to me! This chapter really is such a powerhouse but I like this verse because if we don't put in effort into our faith we will never have results. I think that goes into everything in life. If I never train for a sport I will rarely win and if I never put the cake in the oven it will never bake. If I never put in effort into my faith it will never grow and I will never have the HUGE blessings it brings. 

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE THE BEST WEEK EVER! DONT FORGET GOD WANTS YOU TO SMILE AND BE HAPPY! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

  7/21/25 Sorry i dont have much time tonight. This week was amazing.  - temple on tuesday was awesome - healing from my infection in my leg and im cleared to still go to raro on thursday - lots of lessons this week - exchanges with the APs - lots of spirit felt and testimony grown of the saviors atonement  - ward conference - amazing lesson to set a baptismal date with your friend nate - district FHE with mission president and his wife to celebrate us winning in our challenge this transfer As a mission we just hit our baptismal goal for 3 transfers in a row now. With the goal increasing drastically each transfer. It is amazing to see the Lord progressing his work here in auckland and i feel very blessed to be a part of it. I gave had a strong testimony building week and i am on a spiritual high. I really want to keep this going and keep relying on the lord in all things! I have loved this transfer and the many hardships have made it a very special transfer in my mission....

 Bike Problems Kia Orana Sorry i got no time for this email. This week was awesome as always. We found lots of new people which is always exciting. We had lots of bike problems this weekend and i also crashed on the bike lol. Anyways, in keen for this next upcoming week. We are gonna be pushing yo get a lot of ppl at sacrament so they can see the blessings that come from it! I'm loving my area, the branch is awesome, everyone is so sweet and God is good! Ka kite!

  Happy Tuesday morning!! ☀️☀️ it’s a lovely day so far:) Ok! So here’s an experience I have been feeling like I want to share with you all: Maybe a week ago? Ish? I was in the temple for to do initiatories. I can’t remember if I had an appointment or I was just walking in… I think I was just walking in.  The PCC temple has a really good system for helping people who walk in w/out an appointment be able to do initiatories. However after they got my name and all that jazz they asked me to sit in the front area where the desk is instead of in the back near the booths bc the benches back there were full. This was sorta upsetting to me, I had gone that day really hoping to be able to feel the spirit. But being up there near the desk meant I had to try and tune out all the happenings and chatting there. Recently I’ve discovered that when I’m anxious I can get pretty sound sensitive. So if there’s any noise going on it can completely overwhelm me with anxious thoughts.  I start...
