SOMEBODY GIVE ME AN AMEN

When president talley was about to leave he told all of us in MLC that when you come to the end of your mission the Lord will in some way shape or form thank you for your service. I feel like everyday I see a little miracle or even a huge miracle and every time I am absolutely filled to the brim with God's love. He really appreciates your effort and blesses you for it.

We had a couple lessons with our friend Cody who decided to get baptized on Feb 29th. He is so faithful and so ready to do whatever to takes to get closer to God. Yesterday as we were talking to him about enduring to the end we asked him about sharing Christ's light and when he had seen another share their light with him. He looked me directly in the eyes and said "you". Now I've had a pretty awesome mission but I'm definitely not a perfect missionary and that something I remind myself of every moment of every day but Cody was clear that I had had an impact on his life and was very influential in helping him feel the spirit and feel good about being a part of the Lord's church. There is no greater feeling as a missionary than to see that every sacrifice you make is making a difference.

We've had some amazing miracles in our area and I have never felt so close to the spirit in my life. A big theme of my studies has been obedience=joy and there can be nothing so true. I know that with a surety.

On a funnier note me and raz are like two old crazy ladies with one brain cell between the two of us and every day is us just laughing our heads off at ourselves. We are having so much fun and there is so much love for everyone around us. She helps me feel so confident in sharing the gospel and I cannot fear with raz on my side.

ALSO I GOT INTO BYU AYOOOOOOOOOπŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’™πŸ©΅

I AM ON THE VERGE

This week was literally insanity. I have no words....

...okay yes I do

Monday we plated pickleball and for fhe that night we had a cup pong tournament. One of the people we had met on campus came and when bishop introduced him to the whole ward and asked who invited him I felt so awkward to raise my hand but then he pointed me out and the ward was like oh of course it was the missionaries. Cup pong was wild and we lost a bunch. Apparently there are a lot of extra rules that someone must have come up with when they were drunk cause they're stupid.

Tuesday we drove our minivan to get the Roseville sisters and take them to presidents house for interviews. We played uno with the elders for like two hours and celebrated some birthdays with cheesecake. We had a lesson with Cody and he bore powerful testimony to us that he is exactly where God wants him to be and the commandments are blessings from God.

Wednesday we had this mission wide cleaning day so we got to do a lot of that and during zone lunch we played lots of secret Hitler. I am SO BAD at being facist but I'm slowly getting better. Later we had another lesson with Cody and he asked us about our "conversion" stories. It was so cool to see the joy that each of us felt from living the gospel and the spirit was so strong especially as we talked about more commandments. He told us this is the true Church and he is so pumped to get baptized.

Thursday we did a lot of service helping some people move and spent almost the whole day in jeans it was absolutely incredible. Our member bought us chipotle and we finished the night going over the baptism interview questions with Cody. He is so set and so ready to make a covenant with God.

Friday THIS IS THE KICKER IF YOURE SKIPPING DOWN AT LEAST READ THIS okay so most of the day was pretty mid. We were supposed to go on exchanges but ended up canceling and just going about our day. We met this amazing guy Raoul and he's going to be taught and hopefully baptized in the Spanish area. The gift of tongues is real. (I just handed him an el libro and pointed at the verses he should read) ANYWAYS at night we had a bom read with some peeps in the ysa and Cody came but he was acting sooooo off the whole time and super quiet. I could tell something was wrong and halfway through the bom read he asked to speak to my companion in the hallway. I trailed after them but he didn't want me to hear. It was SO WEIRD and I felt so so uncomfy so I panicked and sat back down. As soon as the bom read ended he left and his friend Riley told us that he had called him the night before saying he wasn't ready to be baptized. As we went out he was standing over in the parking lot and my comp went up to go talk to him and I kept talking to the other people who had come and said bye to them and then I came up to Cody and was like what's up. He proceeded to tell me this huge monolog about how he doesn't belong and he feels like he's not ready and when I finally got to ask a follow up question he said "well... it's because it's a prank"πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘

I was so done after that lol my emotions were all over the place. Turns out Cody is a okay and he's totally getting baptized on thursday. He's just dumb. Anyways what was my week. Cody is amazing and his story is incredible.

My homecoming is March 17th at noon at 1785 E 400 S, Springville, UT 84663. Can't wait to see you all soonπŸ’–πŸ’–
