 🐲busting in all the ways!🐉

新年快樂!恭喜發財!幸福如意!
Or in other words HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Imagine every meal is Thanksgiving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every single meal you eat all your favorite foods with your loved ones and party it up and then do it again! As one of the members told me yesterday, after the Chinese New Year everyone looks a little "chubby"! It's honestly been so cool to learn and be a part of the Chinese New Year even if it has been a learning process too haha.

Here are some things that happened this week!
- zone conference! Zone conference was so spiritual and exactly what I needed to hear. The coolest thing was they asked us all to share how we had improved since coming on our missions. I thought at first everyone would share about the language but as I thought about it and as other shared it was so cool to see that all of us had improved our relationship with the Lord in some way or the other! When we focus on our relationship with the Lord all other aspects in our life will also improve! Isn't that so cool??
- had a lesson with one of our friends about the temple and it was so POWERFUL! Isn't it so cool we have the Lord's house on the earth today? God wants to bless His children and one of the ways He does that is through temples! I have never seen this friend so amazed as we talked about the temple! It definitely was a spirit led lesson!
- we had a lunch with an amazing family and we ate so much food but then we had to bike as fast we could to the mission office for interviews and then had a little bit to rest and do language study only to figure out we had a surprise dinner 20 minutes away in 10 minutes. Haha it was definitely an adventure and very speedy biking!
- lots of door knocking! For Chinese new year our mission has been doing a door knocking challenge and so we have only gone door knocking! Door knocking in Taiwan includes pressing buttons that you think are doorbells and then listening for the classic ding dong song or the sound of birds screaming. Haha so it's definitely an adventure and we may have figured out ways to get rejected by two different people at the same time but it's okay! Everything is a process and the lord definitely won't waste the effort!

Overall this week has been kinda crazy but the best part has really been seeing God's hand in every part of my life and seeing how He really is guiding our lives and His work!

I hope you all know God loves you. He has a perfect plan for you!

I LOVE YOU ALL AND I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST WEEK EVER!!
