 Thinking Celestial

¡Hoooola a todos!

I hope that you all had a fantastic week this week! I hope you all had the chance to say your prayers everyday and read the scriptures everyday as well! If not there's always this week.

This week was definitely a different one for me. It kinda all blended into one. It went by fairly fast. Really what I want to do is focus on some of the best things that happened this week. I want to focus on the positive and leave the negative behind. If it's not helping me it's hurting me.

With that we were able to see many miracles this week! I did exchanges with Elder Rindlisbacher who's from Spanish Fork Utah so super close to me! The last time we did exchanges we both only had about a month in the mission field. We are much better missionaries now. During exchanges we were able to put a baptismal date with our friend Nelly. She's known about the church for many years now but needs to get married so we are helping here with this goal so that she can get baptized on March 23rd. A day before my birthday! She needs to put in her part but I'm excited to see what will happen. This week was super hot but that means we can drink cold water. There's not a better feeling than chugging a bottle of cold water when it over 105 degrees outside. This week I was able to finish The Book of Mormon (in Spanish) which is always awesome. I think my favorite part about finishing The Book of Mormon is being able start it right back up. This week at church like always we got to take the sacrament which is always something positive! We had our friend Mirian who has baptismal date come to church for the first time! She even brought her daughter. She liked it and wants to come back. She speaks a lot of Guaraní so we have to teach fairly simple, but sometimes that's the best way to teach. This week I really got to see God blessing me little by little and giving me strength in the tough moments.

I think my spiritual thought will just follow along with that. Thinking positively, or we could also say Thinking Celestial. I hope you all are taking this council from President Nelson seriously and really trying to Think Celestial in your daily lives. There are so many blessings that come from doing it so just start! I know I can't, but sometimes I wish I could force people people to make the right decisions because I just know how happy that makes us feel! When we choose the right, keep the commandments, think celestial, we are receiving God's joy, power, love, hope, everything! So just try it! Just focus a ton on thinking in this way and see the changes in your week. Maybe you've already thought Celestial this week. If so shoot me an email telling me how. If you don't want to do that, está bien, at least you can think of how you've thought Celestial to yourself.

That's all for this week! Thank you for reading my email and always giving me your support! Special shout of to all of my friends who are out serving missions as well! So proud of all of you and I hope you can all keep going strong changing so many lives!

¡Chau!
Love, Elder Acor

PS Happy early first birthday to my neice Emery! Even though I've never met you in person I still love you tons!

Great to hear of your successes - plus the reference to snags that can come up in every missionary's day. Yesterday we were in St. George to hear our granddaughter's mission homecoming; she served at Newport Beach, CA - Spanish speaking. Great to see the growth in missionaries when they come home! God bless you during this coming week/month! ☼
