 Heat and Answered Prayers

¡Hey everyone!

This week was a long one. Many things happened but at the same time nothing happened.

Tuesday we had to go to the doctor in the morning to get my comps heart checked out. Turns out that there was nothing wrong just that he need a full day of rest so that's what we did Tuesday. He slept and rested and I studied and cleaned a bit.

Wednesday was a little tough because there weren't too many people to teach. We did have success meeting with our leaders for a meeting about the missionary work. It actually went super well to get their advice and communicate a little better. Then we had ward night which was solid like always.

Thursday was a little crazy because we had to go to the doctor for one last time to get my comp checked up. Then we had to go have our interviews with President Faúndez which was awesome. He always knows what to say. He encourages me to be better and strengthens me by pushing further to be the best missionary I can be. Then at night we did actually have some good powerful lessons with some new friends.

Friday was a pretty hot day but it was good to pass by some of our recent converts that are close to our friends to continue to teach them. At night we had our end of year ward party or dinner and should have started at seven but we ended up finally eating at 9:15 and then we zoomed out of there and got home in time.

Saturday was a hot long day of walking passing by many of our friends and recent converts. Pretty fun day still. Passed by quick but it was hot.

Sunday was like all the others a super hot day. Me and my comp were able to give talks at church and I talked about the importance of being examples. We sadly didn't have any friends who came to church. It's been quite a while since we've had friends in church. We did end up having three of our recent converts come to church so that made me happy. Then this day we went and worked about four hours without success. No one accepted us so that was tough. Then we went home and one of our friends texted us to never come back to her house.

So everyone as you can tell it was a little bit of a tough and long week. I've been having patience. It's actually been really good but that doesn't mean that it didn't pass by slowly. Looking at the little things has helped me feel a little bit better. I've had some really sincere prayers this week and honestly they have been answered and that has been a real tender mercy. All I can hope for is a better week next week and even look forward Christmas.

That's it for this week! I hope you all have an amazing week looking forward to Christmas! Love y'all!

¡Chau!

Love, Elder Acor
