¡Haupei, Hola, Hey!
Another week has come and gone. Time is so fast on the mission. I hit sixteen months as a missionary which is crazy. Two more and I've finish a sister's mission.
This week really was kind of a blur so I don't think this email will be too long. Tuesday I got to do exchanges with Elder Bauman which was super awesome. He's such a good missionary. It rained a lot and we got so soaked. Our socks were soaked all the way through thirty minutes into working. We saw lots of miracles with finding some people in his area that he hadn't found for awhile.
We then had a wedding and a baptism on Friday. Our friend Héctor got married so that he could get baptized! Then he got baptized and it was so awesome! He bore an amazing testimony. I'm really happy that he was able to make this decision. This Sunday he should be getting confirmed!
Sunday we got stake conference. It was super good and there was a major focus missionary work so that was cool to be there and know and doing something super good.
I'm super happy that this week we were able to help Héctor get baptized. This week was pretty slow though. Sometimes that happens on the mission. Something I have learned and I am still trying to apply is President Nelson's council. That truly all the choices we make now will determine our life after. That truly has helped me focus on the right things. Truly thinking about how my decisions will affect me in my life helps me make better decisions. So that's my invitation for you guys that you can think more celestialy but really think how you will be blessed from your deciones.
That's it for this week! Thanks for reading!
¡Chau!

¡Hey Everyone! ¿Cómo están?
I hope you've all had an amazing week. Hope you all are stuffed from Thanksgiving. I'm so excited because it now means Christmas time! I love it so much! The Christmas season is amazing because it's such a wonderful time to remember Jesus Christ. Also all my friends and family in Utah enjoy the snow because I miss it.
Tuesday this week I got to go and do exchanges with an old companion of mine, Elder Lugarani. We were comps over ten months ago so it was good to catch up and work together again. He's awesome and I learned a lot about focusing on the truly important things in our lessons. We had a blast.
Wednesday was a super chill day because it started to rain fairly hard. We were able to go to our ward night and like always there are lots of people there to contact and get to know.
Thursday it continued to rain a lot. We got super wet. My comp even left his umbrella in the house of a member the day before so he got completely soaked. It was also Thanksgiving! We were able to go to a member's house and eat some pumpkin pie to celebrate. I also got to talk to my family, but not only that with some of my extended family too! It was so good to see some of them and catch up. Really helps me see the huge blessing that a loving family is.
Friday was a super good day. We got to pass by some new friends that we've found recently. We were able to invite some people to be baptized so we hope and pray that they receive an answer. To end the day too we got to give a little bit of service and decorate for the primary program.
Saturday was an amazing day because we were able to pass by so many of our friends that we have and also a lot of our recent converts. We also found a really yummy açai place also. At the end of the day I got some of the best news after too. Mateo and Celsa got baptized! I worked so hard with these two to be baptized in my last area and they finally got baptized and I'm so happy! Genuinely such good people that deserve all of the blessings that come from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Sunday was an amazing day as well. We tried to walk with some friends to church but that didn't work our but hey it's ok. It's always a good day when I can take the sacrament too. Héctor was also able to be confirmed which was amazing. It was also the primary program in our ward which was awesome. I loved seeing all the kids give their testimonies and talks. They sung super good too! We had a super good lunch too but the members had bought some hot peppers to grow in there garden. To test to see if they were hot Elder Woodbury, my comp, decided to eat one whole and proceeded to die from the heat of the pepper. It was pretty funny.
I'm not going to lie I started this week a little rough. It started off pretty slow and I just didn't know who we were going to teach because we gone through everyone that really was progressing and we were left with nothing. Then I'm sitting here writing this email and I can truly see all the miracles and amazing blessings that I've received this week. This week truly was a test of my faith because usually I have an idea of what's going to happen in the week but this one I had nothing. This week truly only got easier when I let God take control and guide me. Sometimes we say we have faith because we believe in God and believe that the church is true, but when was the last time we truly tested that faith? A faith that hasn't been tested isn't true faith. Once it is tested and tried and we see that God is there for us is when we have true faith. I have seen that first hand here on the mission. Faith is something gained not just given.
Well that's it for this week! Like always thanks so much for reading my email. If you have snow around you go make a snowman for me. Love you all!
¡Adiós!
Love, Elder Acor
