 Paciencia

¡Haupei!

I hope you've all had a fantastic week! I know I've had a good one even though it was kind of a little bit everywhere. Lots of things happened this week so I am going to try and hit the best things.

This week we did a lot of finding. Somedays were for sure better but we found some solid people that may progress and we can help them. Finding is fun but sometimes tiring but it is a solid way to build patience. Something I've learned a lot about here in the mission. Sometimes we just need to keep going with faith.

This Thursday I was able to have an interview with my mission president, President Faúndez, he's super amazing and inspired. It's always really good to hear his advice and get a little boost to my moral. He gave me nice advice about learning from my mistakes and trying my best.

Friday we then had our zone conference which I loved like always. President Faúndez talked about the importance of The Book of Mormon and how we need to use it as missionaries. We heard so much council from other leaders in the mission but like always Presidents words just stuck with me more than anything.

Saturday we had a big miracle happen. We started a fast after lunch and in fast I just asked that we could find someone to teach that will progress to be baptized because we had pretty much no one progressing right now. That night we talked to a couple where the woman is a member but the man is not. They aren't married but they told us that they have that goal. The man's name is Hector and he has received an answer that the church is true and that he wants to be baptized. Huge miracle because he had such cool spiritual experiences and now he's ready.

Sunday it rained quite a bit but hey that happens. We didn't have any friends come to church but we had a very good fast and testimony meeting.

Today I got to go to Itaipu which is the second largest dam in the world. It was super cool. The coolest thing about that I got to recreate a picture that my dad had taken 33 years before.

Lately I have learned a lot about patience. Something recently has clicked for me. I am still working at it but I understand patience more. I really don't know how to explain but what I can do is invite you all to be more patient with your words and what you say and see how that changes your week.

Thank you all for reading this email! Love you guys!

¡Chau!
Love, Elder Acor
