| Last Week |
¡Hola, hola, hola!
This week was super good! Even with the lows I am still very happy with how this week went. Honestly we had such a successful week even when everyday was not completely perfect.
So starting the week off it definitely was not that good. Last P-Day we played a ton of different sports and a lot of soccer and it was super hot. For some reason I forgot to drink much water. Then we had to travel by bus for about an hour in the heat. We got home and I just felt awful. The next day I woke up with an awful headache and my body just hurt. Then I remembered that I literally had not been drinking water so then the whole day while resting I just drank a ton of water.
Wednesday was a pretty solid day. With training there are always days where I just have my comp lead the whole day and Wednesday was one of those days. It was fun. Obviously he made a lot of mistakes but little by little he is learning and has already learned a lot.
Thursday was a very good day. We were able to have our zone conference for this transfer. They are always so amazing and President Faúndez always has such inspired words for us. So many things that I can still work on. So many things I need to improve but I just need patience and faith that the time and effort that I am putting in is enough. That night we were able to go to Mateo and Celsa. Sadly they still need more time. Celsa ended up talking to her pastor from the other church and she just does not feel too confident in being baptized again. It is all good though. Little by little we are helping her along and helping her see why baptism in the church is important. Mateo still really wants to be baptized. So like always some nice strong prayers are always invited.
Friday was a crazy day. We started the day by having exchanges with the other Elders in my district. I got to do exchanges in my area with Elder Olsen from Oakdale, California. He is super awesome and has the same time as one of my children Elder Bauman. He has six months and is just crushing it. He is a crazy hard worker and honestly I want to be a missionary more like him. Our day together had a lot of interviews for baptism. Then we had to run around doing favors for a bunch of people too but honestly it was really fun.
Then Saturday we were able to have Alexander's baptism. It was such an amazing experience. Sadly we were supposed to have two baptisms. One of us and one of the hermanas but their girl did not end up coming. So it ended up just being Alexander. It was awesome though! He was so excited to take pictures in the white clothes. He also told me that he was really nervous to be baptized but that God comforted him and told him that this was the right thing to do. Just such an amazing experience.
Then Sunday he came to church and got confirmed and received the Holy Ghost! Mateo and Celsa also came! They also came with their neighbor. Then for some reason this Sunday there were two other members that brought friends to church so we will be working with them a lot!
I am super happy with how this week turned out. We were able to reach all of our goals as an area so this week I hope to do that all over again.
Well that is all for this week! Thanks for reading! God loves you! Hope you all have a fantastic week!
¡Adíos!
Love, Elder Acor

| This week |
¡Hola a todos!
This week was a long one everyone. Also I am doing all of this on my phone so hopefully everything works out with this email. We has lots of work and lots of things to work on this week.
On Monday night our mission president had to give us a ton of things that we can work on as missionaries because some missionaries were leaving chapels in disorder and just a little crazy so we have somethings we can all improve on here in the mission.
Tuesday I was able to do exchanges with our Zone Leaders. It was pretty good. I got to do exchanges with Elder Valderi who's from Mexico. I got to learn many different ways to work and how to invite everyone to be baptized and to find new people to teach here in Paraguay. Many different things to improve on.
Then honestly the rest of the week was very chill. We had lots of lessons and trying to find lots of people. I can give you all an update on Mateo and Celsa. We had a really good lesson with them. They even invited their neighbor to participate. It was such a good lesson just testifying plainly of truths and of The Book of Mormon. The more I think about it I probably won't be here for there baptism but I am fine with that because they are so close and it will be so good when they get baptized. Something that I've learned from the mission is it's all in the Lord's time. Also we have another kid named Angel who is progressing a lot! He is good friends with a family that are members. He wants to get baptized we just need permission from his mom which will be hard but we will pray and teach him and his mom and hopefully he can get baptized.
That's pretty much it for this week. Nothing too crazy. Just a little bit of a long week. I have been listening to a ton of conferences talks and wow every single one is so good. One I really like was "Like a Broken Vessel" by Elder Holland. Not gonna lie sometimes in the mission I feel like a broken vessel or that I am not doing enough, but I need to take a step back and remind myself that those are not thoughts from God but from the adversary. God can make everything perfect and fix our imperfections.
That's it for this week! God loves you! Make sure you're praying everyday and reading the scriptures!
¡Chau!
Love, Elder Acor
