I got abducted by aliens 👽

Spencer Neel <spencer.neel@missionary.org>

Hello my friends and family how are you!? It's been awhile hasn't it. I am happy to say that I am safely back from being abducted by aliens and this is why I haven't been able to send anything for the past few weeks. But all the while we still were able to put in the work and see a lot of success! The aliens had a blast seeing what we do as misssionaires and I got a few pictures with some of them before they went back out in space. It's been a pretty awesome week.

Getting into the good stuff, I don't know how I am even going to fit everything that has happened into this email. The last time I sent one I just got into the area and now we have transfers tomorrow. I have staying in Berrendo for a second transfer but sadly Elder Rochelle is leaving. I'm going to miss him like crazy and it has defineatly been a life changing mission experience with him. My new companion's name is Elder West and I've heard he's super cool and funny. Good times are ahead for the Berrendo area.

God has been so good to us as we do His work. I have seen countless miracles throughout these past few weeks that have amazed and humbled me. There's really no other way to describe it. I am seen God work through me, my companion, and friends to bring about His purposes. It has been so cool. I feel like a completely different missionary and like a man of God. And through that development of myself through God's help I have seen it come to pass through the miracles He brings through the people we meet. Too many things line up or go certain ways where only God's hand could've made it happen. Over time the stories will come but this has been the most amazing time of the mission and quite honestly my life.

One of the miracles is that we have been able to see this area grow so much! Over the course of the past six weeks we have consistenly been finding new friends to teach. We have added more than twenty new friends to our teaching pool who are all prepared in their unique ways. And we've been able to see a lot of friends come to church as well! The Lord is working in each of their lives. I'll tell you more about them all as time goes on but pray for these friends in specific because they really need prayers, Salvador, Claudia, Carlos, Eulogio, Luis, Alicia, Nano, and AJ. I thank you all for your faith and willingness to pray for these people. There is real power in prayer.

Another cool experience was while we were sitting in Sunday School, one of our less active members comes walking in and says "Hey I've brought some lost sheep and you guys need to go find them". In come walking two guys we had never met before and they stayed for all of church. We talked to them after and they absolutely loved it. Their names are Leito and Juan. Juan told us he plans to come every week because he feels like this is the right place for him. This strengthened my testimony of bringing anyone to church. Our member didn't even really know these guys she just asked if they wanted to come to church. I challenge each of you to think of people in your lives right now or pray for opportunities to invite your friends or people you meet to church. You never know who could really need it and have their life changed forever through your simple but profound invite of them joining you and our Savior at church.

I can't explain to you all just how amazing life is. The joy and love and peace that I feel is something I will never stop praising God for. I will shout it from the roof tops!! I love you all so much. Stay close to the Spirit and our Savior Jesus Christ. Study your scriptures because those are going to be your life-saving source. And I can promise you that with all my missionary heart. Until next time,

Elder Neel✊️
