YOU'VE HAD A BIRTHDAY SHOUT HOORAY

Subject: YOU'VE HAD A BIRTHDAY SHOUT HOORAY

"How old are you?"

"IM 20"

"AHHHHHHH"

It is officially the year of 20 and my mother has no more teenagers. (yes she does feel old)

For my birthday last Thursday we woke up bright and early and made pancakes and I got some new clothes and games and Pickelball paddles!!!! Thank you Thank you for all the birthday wishes I do feel so blessed to have all you wonderful people in my life and for all the support I have received since coming out on my mission. Especially from my beloved grandpa who has donated so generously for me to be here.

We were able to go to the temple for my birthday and it was so special to have some of my friends from past areas there. the relationships you make on a mission are seriously for all eternity. What is sealed on Earth is sealed in Heaven and the sealing power of the spirits works for everyone. I have genuinely felt the love Heavenly Father has for His children and it is something I will never forget.

some fun stuff from this past week:

- me and sister bro were super excited to get a whole hammock set up in our backyard with some posts our member had put up but as soon as I tried to climb into my hammock one of the posts broke....sorry brother Boone. It must not have hurt his feelings too bad because he ordered a trampoline for us last night 😁😁

- I was on exchange with Hma price and we watched someone on a motorcycle get pulled over and then another cop drove past making his way over there. the guy on the bike was wearing a ski mask and looked so offended lol

- I taught the sisters I live with how to play wackee six and we have spent SO MUCH time sitting on the floor that our backs are all out of wack (hehe)

- I have these big ol googly eyes on my waterbottle just for funsies and as we were leaving a lesson our inactive friends 5 year old daughter pointed at me and said "why do you have an eye on your skirt?" It was right in the middle front of my skirt so so embarrasing

- One of the friends we are teaching told us the only reason he is meeting with us is because we are attractive and the reason he doesn't make eye contact with us is because he doesn't want to...get distracted. loving the sister missionary life

- I went on exchange with my trainer sister ramesh In yuba and it was so amazing and beautiful! the open house for the feather river temple will run from the end of august to the beginning of september and sister missionaries will be assisting in the celestial room! we had a miraculous day including me rolling up a window in our car that was stuck for a couple hours hehe

Overall and super fun and exciting week! I hit my 9 months today so I am officially on the last half!! It is so crazy but just like my mama keeps saying, I could not imagine my life without my mission. I have been spending a lot of time reflecting on the last 9 months and I am so so grateful for this wonderful experience. I have seen so much change in myself that I never thought possible and I cannot wait to see how these next 9 months go. I love and miss you all and I am so grateful for all the support!!
