Working Hard
Cooper Acor <cooper.acor@missionary.org>
¡Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!
This week was definitely a very normal one. Nothing too crazy happened. I will say though that last Monday night we had a guy follow us and then chase us a little bit by running at us. It was good though we out ran him and I attached the selfie we took right after that experience above.
This week we worked all the areas we normally work and found new people and invited a lot of people to be baptized. We are at a point where we are trying new things and seeing what works. It has been a bit of a dry spot in my mission when it comes to baptism and people progressing but sometimes we have dry spots in our lives. What we can do is keep moving forward doing the right things and then eventually something will come.
While the work maybe going a little bit slower I will say I have been developing good habits. My greenie has some awesome workouts we have been doing and I feel great. Also my daily habit of studying the scriptures still happens no matter what is happening in the work and that has been so important for me because it strengthens me spiritually everyday and I can feel God's love for me. That is one habit I will keep for the rest of my life. It will easily be the thing that keeps me the happiest in life. Who knows what will happen everyday but if we start our days reading the word of God how could things go wrong.
If anything I have relearned at this time it is for sure to not get comfortable. Try new things, eat something new, talk to someone new. It is so refreshing to get out of our normal everyday activities sometimes.
That's it for this week! Thanks for reading this email I hope you all have a fantastic week!
¡Adíos!
Love, Elder Acor
