Sister and Elder Duncan: 4/17/23

Aloha Friends & Family,

Another two weeks have slipped by and we are finding that time stands still for no one. The past two weeks have been filled with so many blessings. Stacy has been doing her health advisor calling, helping with meals for zone conference, & filling in for mission leaders assistant. I work at the PCC in the motor pool, we are training to serve in the visitors center a few different shifts each month, and we are greeters at the PCC luau's several times each month. We love meeting so many different people from all over the world and sharing the gospel. Mike and Alaina Ewing visited us last week. So much fun to see our friends.

We love serving our community and the young men and women in our ward. We are in a YSA 7th ward, 2nd stake, Amazing Bishop Sameula Fakatou. Today is graduation and 14 members of our ward graduated. Such wonderful kids! There are kids out all of the time having fun playing and lots of roosters that never stop making noise on our street. It reminds me of Springville, when I was young. The people are so kind and welcoming. Our landlord is really nice and we did find relatives around me on family tree and we are 10th cousins.  It is amazing because his family is from New Zealand. The gospel is true and I know that our Heavenly Father is in the details of our lives as we serve Him and follow our Savior's example, we will see miracles. I thought of the verse of the day in Gospel Library today;  "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it". Matt 16:25

God Bless you all and your families!

Aloha nui ia oe,

Elder & Sister Duncan
