Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!

This week really was a crazy one. Like always with its ups and downs and all the fun interactions with people, so let's just jump right into it.

Tuesday I had divisions with my zone leader Elder Contreras which was a blast. This was my second time doing divisions with him and he is legit such a good missionary. I learned a lot from him and I learned so much about the importance of The Book of Mormon in our work. It was also to have a full day speaking in Spanish.

Wednesday was a very long day. After we had lunch with a member we went and worked in an area and we probably talked to about thirty different people but no one wanted to talk with us or give us the time of day so it was a bit long. Then that night we had an English class that we are starting up and no one showed up so that was fun! Missionary Work haha!

Thursday was a really good day. We organized many different lessons with our friends and members and there were just so many of them in one area that we literally worked on one road for a couple of hours. Our friend Claudio, who came to church a week ago, had a lesson with him. It was very sad because he was very drunk and he really did not know what was happening and could not understand what we were trying to teach so we are having patience with him and hopefully and figure things out.

Friday was easily one of the craziest days on my mission so far. After we had lunch with one of our members we ran into the same drunk man that I talked about two or three weeks ago in the street. He could not even recognize us so we just let him go on his way. Then we contacted a couple more houses and then ran into a guy with a wheelbarrow who could only speak Guarani but what I could understand is that he wanted money. Then we ran into an old man who we helped bring some groceries to his house. Then when we got to his house a random man came up to us and said that he wanted to be baptized in the Mormon church then just disappeared. Two seperate kids called us president. Then to top it all off some guy called us over and just wanted to fight about Joseph Smith with us. So yeah definitely just one of the craziest days I have had for awhile.

Then the rest of the week just seemed to be a lot more chill compared to that day. We got taken out to dinner Saturday so that was really fun. Then we got to make Arepas with a very wealthy family. I think I have talked about them but their names are Jaquelyn and Felipe. They are awesome. Jaque is a member and Felipe is her partner and they have two little kids. Felipe is not a member and is learning more about the church. The thing with him is that he owns one of the biggest gambling companies here in Encarnacion and he has a lot of money haha. He really spoils us.

That was it for this week! To end off I can just give some of the things I have learned this week. Honestly, while it was crazy, I really felt God's love with me every moment this week. The power of prayer is real and I know that when we pray we can receive answers according to our faith.

Thank you all for reading this email! I love you all so much and thank you for all your prayers and support!

¡Adios!

Love, Elder Acor
