hi friends!!!! I know I am super bad at writing emails but SO MUCH has happened and I couldn't be more grateful for my mission so far. I officially hit 5 months yesterday! I am almost a third of the way through my mission and that hurts my brain way too much.

Apparently my mission president decided that I have had enough time flying past the radar and decided to put me as a STL trainer plus training a new STL. It has been so much fun and I have realized that the Lord truly does call the weak to do the work because it has truly been a humbling past couple of months.

We had a crazy week with transfers and getting everything switched around and starting training for my adorable new comp sister Allred. She is from Frederick CO and the family ward and ysa ward absolutely adore her already. I can tell that we are going to do a great work together she is already a super baller missionary and is so ready to do the work. I just have to point her in the right direction and she just goes for it.

OUR FRIENDS

jessica: she is so ready to be baptized she just wants to pray about the date. her inactive husband has been super helpful in teaching her and helping her and we are hoping he will be ready to baptize her. they are so incredible and Jessica always gives us treats after our lessons. This week she told us that she has felt a peace come to her house since we have started teaching her and that the last time we were over she could see a light in my eyes when I bore my testimony. These are the BEST things to hear as a missionary :)

Jacob: YSA and so so so ready to have the spirit as a companion. he says he struggles with repentance and I'm like bro. who doesn't. I listened to the talk by brad wilcox "His Grace is Sufficient" and it is so so so good. the truth is that there is nothing we can do to save ourselves, literally nothing. All the things we are asked to do like commandments and reading our scriptures and going to the temple are to prepare us for heaven. We are practicing exaltation, not earning it. all the things we do is for us to change and adopt the characteristics of Christ.

EPIC GAMER MOMENTS

- my bishops daughter wrote about me in an essay she had to write for her shakespeare program XD

- my new comp's birthday is november 18 so we are exactly 6 months apart and it's super wack

- we went up to Gridley for Mission Leadership Council and we got to have lunch with one of my favorite members!! it was so so so awesome

- our water heater was leaking and making the carpet wet in my room and the peeps came in to fix it and now there is a huge fan running in our room for the day and a half.

- last sunday I had a super fun time and went to the instacare and found out I had some kidney stones. it has been not too bad but definitely uncomfortable haha

I love you all and I miss you! please feel free to email or message me on facebook messenger at any time! Go and listen to Brad Wilcox's talk His Grace His Sufficient and learn more about grace it will change your life!
