christ-más miracles ♡♡
Amanda Gardner <amanda.gardner@missionary.org>
Wow this week was amazing. So many things happened that reminded me that this is God's work!! We really are just small instruments in His hands.
Here are some miracles:
✨️ first - last week I said I missed snow and--boom. It snowed this Friday so everything shut down, but it was absolutely so beautiful!!!
✨️ next was Kathy! The night that it snowed us and the other hermanas in the branch went to a random Mexican restaurant for dinner. Our waitress saw us and got so excited and said she was a member that just moved here from Guatemala!! We gave her our number and were able to meet up later to talk to her. She said the entire night she was just praying for us to give us her number because she wanted to go to church so bad! We were able to share a short scripture with her and we are going to get her connected to the relief society
✨️ Between us and the other hermanas in the branch 11 of our friends came to church this Sunday! It was absolutely amazing!!! We got to sing the first noel in spanish for them at the service and I was full of SO much joy.
✨️ we asked our friend darinel if he wants to get baptized a week earlier after a temple tour and with tears in his eyes he said yes. He is so ready to make a covenant with God and has such a strong relationship with his Savior it was amazing
✨️ we received SO many referrals from social media of people who are searching for God and the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. They were able to open up and we have seen so many miracles with them.
✨️ Lots of inactive members of the branch came to church and it was SO amazing!!! We got one of them, Marcel, to fellowship our friend Isidro and he did AMAZING
I want to end this email with my testimony. I know that Jesus is the Christ. To fulfill the plan of salvation He payed the price for our sins. Only he was able to do this. When the Father asked His beloved son to pay the price for the world's sins Jesus was prepared and willing. He suffered beyond comprehension, so much so that he bled from every pore and asked whether it were possible that this burden could be lifted, but he submitted to the fathers will in a supreme expression of love for His father and for us. I know through his infinite sacrifice we can overcome all things. I feel his love everyday and I'm so grateful that through my covenants I can more fully receive his grace and healing power.
Love you all, until next week
