Progressing

¡Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!
I hope that everyone had such a great week! For all my family and friends in Utah it sure looks amazing with all the snow I miss it a lot! Like I said last week we had transfers. It has been so fun. Here on the mission transfers are huge because everyday is very much the same but when we have transfers the whole world changes. Elder Lugarani is amazing. He is such a good missionary and I have already learned so much from him. He is super funny and I can actually communicate with him so well and it is all in Spanish!
This week with the missionary work has been pretty good. We have contacted and found so many people to teach. In our lessons people are progressing a lot when we are teaching them and there is a lot of interest. The only thing different when Sunday roles around is when we can see who really wants to make changes. This last week was disappointing because we had a lot of plans and people on date for baptism but none of them ended up going to church. We were able to get two new people to come to church which was a miracle so we will start teaching them and see where their progress goes.
Also something cool that we were able to do yesterday is that we went to a place called the Pueblo de Dios which means the town of God. It is a town here in this area and it is only a town of this religion. It was super interesting to see their different beliefs and see this town that was dedicated to this specific religion. I had actually heard of this place before when I was in Asunción so it was very cool to go and see.
As I teach more and more people I get to see new situations and new types of people every single day. Hearing people make goals to change and be baptized has really inspired me. When I see the hope in peoples eyes to change it makes me so happy. It is hard when they do not complete what they need to do to change but it makes me want to follow through on things that I said that I will do. When I say I will work harder I want to work harder to show the Lord that I am willing to give my all. I want to find more and more people each day because I know one of them will complete these promises and they can follow Christ. This week try and make a change and follow through. Not for yourself but for Christ.
Love all of you! I hope and pray that you all have a good week and can feel the light of Christ in your lives!
Love Elder Acor
