Working Hard

Cooper Acor <cooper.acor@missionary.org>

¡Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!

This week has been so amazing so let us just get right into it. I do not have any specific stories of this week but just a lot of success to talk about.

This week we put five different people on date and we are so excited! So we have Pedro and Nancy and they have a kid and her name is Liz. The situation with Pedro and Nancy is that they have to get married before they get baptized because they are living with each other. The good thing is that they want to get married. We are working with them and members in the branch to have their wedding and their baptism on the same day. They also have their daughter which should be pretty easy we will just have her be baptized with her parents.

Next we have David. David is super ready to be baptized. He is thirteen and he has most of the lessons and he has permission from his mom to be baptized. He is also good friends with a girl in our branch so that helps a lot he can ask her questions and we come and finish all the lessons with him then we are set.

We have our other Liz on date she is about 29 and her husband is a councilor in another branch so she is pretty set to be baptized we just keep working with her and she will be ready.

Then we have Tomas. He has been being taught since April but just this last week he came to church for the first time. He has all the lessons and is ready all he needs to do is come to church one more time.

Now we have people who are not on date but can definitely get on date. We have Matias who has been taught for such a long time. He has gone to church plenty of times and he has all the lessons all he needs is his parents permission and we have his moms all we need is his dads. Next we have Herminio. He has come to church twice now but we have never actually taught him because he lives so far away. Next time he comes to church we are going to give him most of the lessons and invite him to be baptized.

So many miracles this week and just to flex a little bit this last week we had the most friends come to our branch in the entire mission! We had eight of our friends come to church this week!

We are hoping that all of this works out and that we can have everything run smoothly. So all the prayers we can have are super welcome.

That is all from this amazing week! Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season.

Love Elder Acor
