¡Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!
Yesterday I just hit 5 months as a missionary! Super crazy how fast time is going. This week was definitely one of my favorites as a missionary. I started off the week very differently because I went on divisions with my zone leader. The thing is that my zone leader has something wrong with his knee so we worked on Facebook all day. We also did that for the next two days. So for three days I was on divisions hanging out with Elder Harris doing Facebook work but it was still super fun and productive. I also had the opportunity this week to have my interview with President Faundez that we have every transfer. It was super good and it was so cool not because I could understand everything he said and all the advice that he gave me. Finally I went back to my area to do normal work.
We were really busy after my divisions cause we had to prepare for the baptism of David! David got baptized Saturday and it was so amazing! This is my first baptism on the mission so it is really good to see my hard work paying off. It was so amazing. It was just a bit crazy because we were supposed to start the baptism at 2 but then we had to wait until 3 because no one showed up but it all turned out good! I was also given the opportunity to give David the Holy Ghost. It was so amazing! We are now gonna work and help him get the priesthood now.
Not only did we have this baptism but we also had a really fun activity in a big park. It was super different. We set up a TV and speaker and played Christmas videos and handed out Books of Mormon. Then we also went and talked and taught everyone in this park. We had some of our friends teach with us! They are so amazing their names are Grachi, William, and Mitchel. They are family and they are 12 and William is 13. We are really excited for them. This experience in the park was super cool and different. It made me feel like a missionary in America. Then we were also able to sing songs. The spirit was super strong. Then Sunday was a little crazy because it was the World Cup final. Paraguay is right next to Argentina so everyone wanted them to win. Not gonna lie I wanted France to win but it's good because it was still crazy when they won.
Little update on our friends Nancy and Pedro, who need to be married. They are getting their papers and everything ready and hopefully at the end of this month we can have this wedding and baptize them with Liz, Nancy's daughter too. Also we found out Nancy has a niece! She wants to be baptized too so if everything happens perfectly we will have 4 more baptisms.
I hope everyone is having an amazing Christmas season and enjoying the snow! Next time I talk to you guys Christmas will have passed so have a good Christmas and open lots of presents! Love you guys!
Love Elder Acor
