Week 48: Greenie Fire

Hello beautiful people!! This week has been the most wonderful. On thursday we went to transfers. We got to see Sister Petersen, Sister Jensen, Sister ASHBY and all kinds of fun people!! Then we got assigned our new missionary...... her name is Sister Palmer!! She is actually legendary. The greenie fire is SO THERE. We knocked doors her first day and she KILLED it. We all three work together as such a good team. I want to get to know them as friends for too long, Sister Ballard wants to shoot right into a message, and Sister Palmer kills it with the transition so its PERFECT. 

My mom said yall would want to know all about her. So shes from a little town called Ashton in Idaho. She broke her big toe in the MTC cause she dropped a 65 lb weight on it. (ouch) so shes in a boot and on crutches/scooter for the next 5 ish weeks. We'll be spending a lot of time in the doctos haha. but we are HAPPY to have her. cripple and al ;)

i dont even know what we did this week yall to be honest. We got bashed a TON. Members, nonmembers, people we're teaching, everything. it was a mess. We had two member dinners two nights in a row, and got bashed in both during our spiritual thought. Which like... never happens. Then last night this guy would NOT STOP TALKING and bashing and Sister Palmer didnt know how to walk away (we werent in a lesson we were at a members house) so i tried saving her and getting him distracted and then he was bashing me and finally Sister Palmer just told him to stop. She didnt want to hear any more. She cried on the way home as we talked about better ways we all could have handled it. The south is HARD. We arent setting bap dates every week, even every transfer. People yell at us often. We get rejected pretty much always. But thats what we've been called to do. No one was persecuted more than the Savior, and i dont put myself above him. I know we're in this together <3

But we did have some cool stuff!! A lot of awesome door knocking! And my best friend Will May is a spray paint artist and he had us come over and we taught the plan of salvation WHILE he was spray painting the three kingdoms. So the final reveal, was the three kingdoms at the end. It is THE COOLEST. Dont worry ill send a picture of course. 

Its been an amazing week and i for real havent laughed this hard probably my entire mission. I love this trio business. its so fun. :) 

• DAVID is STILL ghosting us!! we've gone to his house, called, texted, nothing :(( pray that we can find him!
• MANSFIELDS are so great. But satan is coming at them hard to get them to fall away again and not get these kids baptized. Please pray, we're going to try and set a date this week for them 
• ANTHONY AND JULIANNA are amazing as always. but we had a really long conversation about forordination vs predestination. if anyone has any tips on how to teach that, please let us know. 
• MICHAEL we read over Ezekiel 37 with him and told him not ALL of God was in the Bible, as amazing as it is. It went pretty good?

sister ballard does this thing where she sends funny questions in her emails and reads peoples responses too us, and its so good so im gonna start doing it too. it keeps us happy :)
