¡Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!

Well everyone if you would like to know how fast time is going I have already been here in Paraguay for one month! Like what that is so crazy! I hope everyone is doing well. I know a ton of you are deep into school. Hopefully it is all going well. If not and it is difficult I would suggest reaching out for help from friends, family, teachers. Also keeping a close relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is so important because when you do that you can always have comfort and hope during hard times.

Some updates with our friends that we are teaching to be honest we do not have much. It has been very slow and quite a struggle trying to find people who will progress. Pretty much everyone we had hope for last week dropped because none of them were keeping up with their commitments and promises. We are pretty much at square one for transfers next week. We have luckily been able to work with members a lot and create a stronger connection with them. Having lunch with them has been amazing and also I am always able to practice my Spanish with them which is awesome. One amazing experience that happened this week just happened during our last visit last night. We met with a single older lady who is in our branch who we have not visited since our first week. We knew that her brother had died two week prior so we thought it would be a good idea to check in on her and see how she was doing. Thank goodness we did. This sister knew that her brother was probably not going to make it since he was pretty sick. She taught him the Plan of Salvation and he wanted to know more. Sadly he passed away before he could. Not only that but this sister has thirteen other siblings. All very strong Catholics started to turn on this sister. Saying that she was accepted by her family because of her beliefs. Not only this but this poor sister also fell this last week and was hurting and hurt her hip. She got sick with the Flu. Along with all this she has to raise her nine year old granddaughter. All these very difficult things to happen all within the span of two weeks was so hard. This sister told us that she knelt to Heavenly Father and just asked that she wanted to die. That she did not want this pain anymore. Just yesterday finally she had some of her children and family come over to her house to help her out with cleaning and just organizing everything. They all left and twenty minutes later guess who decided to show up to her house. Elder Palomino and me. This sister said that right as her family left that the Spirit told her to start sweeping the house and get ready for the missionaries. Sure enough we came and she was sweeping the house for us. We did not plan this visit. We had about four other visits canceled on us before we even thought about going to this sister's house. Heavenly Father knew that this sister needed us. Needed us as comfort to hear her situation, to tell her that God loves her, to give her an amazing blessing. God knows each of us perfectly. Turn to him and ask for advice in your life. If nothing else, ask for comfort in your day.

Sorry that was a really long story but I just really wanted to share that with all of you. I have not even talked about conference! Wow, conference on the mission is something truly special. Every single talk I could apply to something that was happening in my mission. I invite you to watch conference if you have not already or rewatch some of your favorite talks. This is not an empty invitation. If I could I would personally tell every single one of you that is reading this email to listen to the amazing words of our Prophet, Apostles, General Authorities. One of my favorite speakers was Steve Lund, you're going to have to listen to the talk to figure out what it is about haha. Another part of the conference that I felt the Spirit so incredibly strong was when the choir sang "Let Us All Press On." go listen to it and I promise you that you will feel God's love for you.

I love every single one of you that are reading this email. You all have such a special place in my heart. Go out this week and know that God loves you and that you can absolutely crush this week.

Love Elder Acor
