¡Hola mi familia y a mis amigos!

Wow first real week here was crazy! I feel like so much has happened that I can not really think of everything. We are teaching so many people. We are at this point in the mission that we just have people to teach about every thirty minutes everyday. I still for the most part just sit there and smile and nod and I understand about a quarter of what is being said. Now though with members I share a scripture and explain what I think in Spanish so that is cool! Also everyone starts talking to me in Spanish then they ask do I understand and I say a little bit then they just talk to my comp haha. Also fun thing I had my first experience with a lady breast feeding right in front of me so that was something.

There has been so many opportunities to feel the spirit this week it has been great. I got to be interviewed by my mission president which was amazing I love him! Fun fact though he does not speak any English so my interview was short but sweet. Then in lessons where I can bare my very simple testimony in Spanish most everyone seems to feel the spirit after. Cosme is an older man who has come to church and received lessons a long

So some updates with our friends and just experiences with them we have 5 friends we are hoping will be baptized they are close. We have Julio 17, Derlis 19, Thiago 13, Luis 60+, and Cosme 60+. Luis is definitely the closest we go and teach him and his answer to everything is alright sounds good. It is so amazing so we just need him to come to church then we are set. Thiago and Julio are in a similar situation they are both minors and need permission from their parents and both of them are very Catholic so we are hoping to work with their parents. Cosme is really close too but he has a lot of questions and is just hesitant. He came to church this Sunday which was awesome. We picked him up with a member in his car. He asked questions in Sunday school and everything. Then after we had a meeting so it was about 15 minutes after church and we go where is Cosme? Turns out he walked home! So that was bad. We went and visited him yesterday and to apologized and he said it is alright so hopefully no bad feelings. We taught him an awesome lesson and he asked questions about the temple so super cool. One last experience we just last night where we were looking for this guy and we clapped in front of his house and waited then a car pulled up and it was his brother. His name is Juan and we started just teaching him a bit in the street. Then we started talking about the Book of Mormon and he started reading about Jesus right there in the street. He was so happy and loved it. Then we found out that the house is his parents and he actually lives...outside of our area. Soooo we can't teach him. Hopefully the missionaries in the other area do a good job.

Love you all hope you have the best week!
