Week 40: alex the car guy

helloooo my friends!!! this week has been a wild one!

we have been outside walking and talking to people A LOT because we're trying to just be spirit lead and talk to everyone and ill be real.... it sucks. i hate it big time. i dont know why but it just makes me so nerrrrvousssss. BUT! we are doing it anyways and God is blessing us for me stepping out of my comfort zone. (Sister Ballard loves it) Because this week! We were calling a ton of previously taught people, and then sister ballard said hey lets take a lap around our complex. So we did. and low and behold. no one wanted to talk to us. mostly cause it was ONE BILLION degrees and no one was outside. but as we were walking we looked through buildings and saw a guy working on a car. and i immedietly had the thought to go talk to him and it was pretty clear that sister ballard did too. but i was like BRUH. i know NOTHING about cars what do we even say. well... we went anyways. when we got over there he was under the car. just on his back. and so i said the first thing i could think of: "you need one of those rolly thingies!" literally. good job 5 year old. But! we actually ended up having a 20 minute conversation with him. His name is Alex, and just 2 months ago he started believing that God is there. so we talked and talked and got his number and he said hed love to meet with us and know more!! what a miracle!!

Now for our people:
RICHARD is out of the hospital and doing well, thank you for your prayers! now we just have to start praying hard that we can get him to church and that he can be strong in his decision to get baptized.

LOUISE+CAMILLE are.... a struggle. louise is signing camille up for a catholic school and has started actively going to mass. keep praying, we have hope.

DAVID was taught the Word of Wisdom this week, and its gonna be a rough one. but i have faith that he will be helped, we just need him to put in the effort.

THE MANSFIELDS had us over for dinner the other day. we talked about baptism, temples, and eternal families. We have asked Leah and Lee (the parents) to pray about their kids getting baptized. I know God answers prayers.

please please please keep all these people in your prayers!! they need it. love yall, thank you!!!
