Week 28: respect the drip...

of sweat. respect the drip of sweat. its really hot here :)

This week has been so good!! We have had MIRACLES. We finally got a hold of our good friend Zachery. Often we ask people what they believe they have to do to be saved and they say "uh... believe in Jesus." its that easy!! And we're like well yeah but... doctrine of Christ..... (faith, repentance, baptism, gift of the Holy Ghost, endure to the end)  So we asked Zachery what he thought we had to do to be saved. And he goes well.. you have to believe in Jesus. And we're like osihgoaiwheoighaoiwehg BUT THEN. He was like and... you have to be constantly changing to be better. And you need to be baptized. And follow what God says... for the rest of your life. And we were sitting there with our jaws on there floor even though we are NOT a codfish. Because WOAH. Lets just baptize this guy and let God translate him already. Just kiddingggg!!! But for real it was such a miracle lesson!! So we taught it and he LOVED it!! Yay Zachery! please keep him in your prayers because as hard as we work, the devil sometimes works just as hard. So please send him all the help he can get!!

This week we were also able to go biking in one of the mornings. Our plan was to bike to a referrals house and talk to him. So we did... and he wasnt home. So we decided to walk with our bikes down the street. And as we did, we said hi to this lady on her porch. She came out and talked to us. And that is how we met Quasha. :) She ended up being very interested and she wanted a Book of Mormon!! After that we continued to walk down the street. That SAME STREET! We were stopped by an old couple on their porch. Baka was like... 90 billion years old and couldnt hear a thing but was such a good man. He told us stories of war and of God and wanted a Book of Mormon as well. Later this week when Sister Swain was here in Waycross she found YET ANOTHER person on that same street who was interested!! How crazy. God puts us in the right place at the right time, but he also consecrates our efforts. How amazing is it that God uses us? The imperfect beings we are, to bring about his great and glorious work. I am so honored to be a part of it. Im so grateful that God loves me enough to use me, despite my MANY flaws and set backs. Even though i get nervous and dont want to talk to people, even though when I get going I talk too much and over explain, even though I usually just want to take a nap instead of... whatever we're doing. God still CHOOSES to use ME. And I will forever be grateful.

Yall the work is wonderful. Life is wonderful. This week transfers approach. Six months in Waycross seems to be coming to a close, though I dont know for sure yet. Im excited for a new chapter of this mission life. But i'll forever be #bornandraisedinwaycross ❤

In other notes Devin got bit by a big scary dog and has to get lots of shots so... please keep him in your prayers 'cause ya know. Chilean dogs aren't that nice and clean.

I love yall!! Have a GOOOOD week. God loves you, he wants to bless you. I challenge you to look for his hand in your life this week :))
