Week 23: Sicky and the Miracles (my new band name)


I never know how to start these emails so.... hey! Hows it going?? ITS GOOD HERE!!! 


A cool thing, we had transfers calls this weekend. And Sister Swain and I will both be staying in Waycross!!! WHOO HOOO!! But that also means by the end of this transfer I will have been in Waycross for SIX MONTHS!! Mind blowing I know. But we're excited!! 


Now on to the week!! First of all, James gave us ALL his coffee so... we may or may not have a lot of coffee in our car. We're working on it. But thats so exciting!! And he is getting baptized this Wednesday!! So pray for him because yall know how hard Satan works. So pray hard and lets get James on the covenant path! Because its just one step closer to Christ, and really isnt that what we're all trying to do? 


So now for the title explaination. This week i had the flu. Or something. Cause i was out COLD with a fever for like two days. Which was just splended. But it was SUCH a miracle week!! Because we met a man named Zachery on our tradeoff last week and gave him a Book of Mormon. And so this week we went back. And yall let me give you a little info about the South. People here believe that revelation stopped when the apostles of Christ were killed. And they believe that anything after that is... bad news. So when we teach about the Restoration of the gospel and Joseph Smiths first vision.... people dont understand that revelation and restoration continues BECAUSE Christ loves us, BECAUSE God loves us... and they end up telling us to leave. But this guy. We taught him the restoration and he goes "I know without a doubt that everything you just told me is completely true. I know it." And we were like OISGOISOIDHG. Are you kidding me mind blown. And then he asked us what we expected him to do now that he believes. And so we explained baptism and that by doing it we follow Christs example and come closer to him. And Zachery was like hmm.. ive never been baptized before but okay!! AMAZING!! And he told us to come back the next day! And so we did and we brought our wonderful member friend Dustin. And we taught the Plan of Salvation. Zachery loved it! He knew it was all true and was so excited. He told us that he felt like his world had been lighter since we had come around. Christ does that :)) It was the coolest missionary experience!!! We're so excited. Pray for Zachery!!! 


Other than that.... not much is going on. But please pray for James, Bradley and Zachery!! I love yall!!

  7/21/25 Sorry i dont have much time tonight. This week was amazing.  - temple on tuesday was awesome - healing from my infection in my leg and im cleared to still go to raro on thursday - lots of lessons this week - exchanges with the APs - lots of spirit felt and testimony grown of the saviors atonement  - ward conference - amazing lesson to set a baptismal date with your friend nate - district FHE with mission president and his wife to celebrate us winning in our challenge this transfer As a mission we just hit our baptismal goal for 3 transfers in a row now. With the goal increasing drastically each transfer. It is amazing to see the Lord progressing his work here in auckland and i feel very blessed to be a part of it. I gave had a strong testimony building week and i am on a spiritual high. I really want to keep this going and keep relying on the lord in all things! I have loved this transfer and the many hardships have made it a very special transfer in my mission....

 Bike Problems Kia Orana Sorry i got no time for this email. This week was awesome as always. We found lots of new people which is always exciting. We had lots of bike problems this weekend and i also crashed on the bike lol. Anyways, in keen for this next upcoming week. We are gonna be pushing yo get a lot of ppl at sacrament so they can see the blessings that come from it! I'm loving my area, the branch is awesome, everyone is so sweet and God is good! Ka kite!

  Happy Tuesday morning!! ☀️☀️ it’s a lovely day so far:) Ok! So here’s an experience I have been feeling like I want to share with you all: Maybe a week ago? Ish? I was in the temple for to do initiatories. I can’t remember if I had an appointment or I was just walking in… I think I was just walking in.  The PCC temple has a really good system for helping people who walk in w/out an appointment be able to do initiatories. However after they got my name and all that jazz they asked me to sit in the front area where the desk is instead of in the back near the booths bc the benches back there were full. This was sorta upsetting to me, I had gone that day really hoping to be able to feel the spirit. But being up there near the desk meant I had to try and tune out all the happenings and chatting there. Recently I’ve discovered that when I’m anxious I can get pretty sound sensitive. So if there’s any noise going on it can completely overwhelm me with anxious thoughts.  I start...
