Helping refugee families
Our youth are assembling cold-weather welcome packages that contain knit caps/beanies, knit gloves or mittens, and athletic (crew style) socks. If you want to support the effort, you can drop items by a member of the bishopric’s home before 7:00 Wednesday, February 23.
What we’re reading
This week our Come Follow Me reading is Genesis 18-23: “Is Any Thing Too Hard for the Lord?”
“Faith is for the future. Faith builds on the past but never longs to stay there. Faith trusts that God has great things in store for each of us…” Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, The Best Is Yet to Be.
Getting to know you… Tisha Graff (Living in Ashley and Lee Gammell's basement)
I’m Tisha Graff! My husband and I just moved into the ward at the beginning of the year. We’ve been married for just about 2 months but we’ve know each other for 11 years. My parents are from Wayne County, UT but I was raised in Queen Creek, Arizona! I’m a student at BYU studying Sociology & Family Life with plans to graduate next year. I love to do anything out in the sunshine, read a good book or bake cookies. I’ve worked as a family & wedding photographer for 4 years now and absolutely love it. I’m excited to be in Springville & can’t wait to get to know all of you.
Happy Birthday to you
