Ahaha heyy I bet you're so excited to hear about another week in Papeete:) Some quick lessons learned before we get into it;

-There are in fact cannibals in my mission

-found out that the name meg is short for megaladon and not megan

-my companion told me that if i wanted to know what my husband will look like i could go to the grounds of the temple and pray about it?

-On a more serious note, forever families are possible and I am so grateful for mine.

-Patience is everything, and God's plan is always worth the wait

Growing up, my dad always told me the story of this man he taught on his mission in France that was able to be baptized and left a huge impact on him.  His daughter lives near Papeete with her family and I got to meet them this week!  Feeling so grateful for the examples of my parents as the coolest missionaires ever, and the forever effect that the Gospel has on families.

This week we ended up taking a trip out to faaa to sing for a baptism. Turns out this baptism was for my companion's little brother, and we spent the better part of our day at a Tahitian family reunion.

Our mission president is on the island adjacent to the cannibals currently so contact has been limited and things have started to get a little interesting over here on the main island. < insert an exorcism and emergency surgery, not me don't worry mom:)

A scary man on the side of the road gave us orange bananas, and because of our no car situation, we end up biking great lengths to get our daily baguettes. (I actually do eat a baguette pretty much every day, and don't judge cause bread goes bad fast here so you have to hustle while it's still good) <insert Matt 6:11 here because a girl has gotta get that daily bread for real you know? Anyways, biking in a windy place in a dress is as difficult as it might sound, so in the words of my roommate, the entire country of tahiti has seen my testimony. iykyk:')

It's Christmas time! Mostly typing that as a reminder, because it does not feel like it over here aha:) I hope you all feel an extra sense of the love that Jesus Christ has for you right now<3 if you're ever questioning it, email me and I will make sure you know how much Jesus Christ and I love you. He is the reason for the season and the reason for everything good in general, so make sure the people you're around everyday know there's always something to be happy about. I hope this most chaotic email finds you well<3 I love you!
