Xin Chào gia đình!!
God. Is. Grand.
I have so much I want to share! So many miracles! Proof that God is grand!
So sorry if this is long... but also not sorry haha! You can enjoy the pictures.
Beach days:
In the past two weeks we have gone to the boardwalk to find people and to make our awesome fb video! Here's the link because it makes me smile!

You want to smile today? Watch this video!!! I love this question because everyone has different answers! Jesus Christ is every single one of these words and more because His relationship with each...
We have met the coolest people and the location is too beautiful! How can there not be a Grand God?
I love to see the temple:
Last week we went to the temple on Tuesday! So my pday was messed up! But wow. The temple. I haven't been to the temple in over a year and the feeling of peace and a closeness to God is real. GO TO GOD'S GRAND TEMPLES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!! It will help you with anything and everything!!
Back to the trio life:
Monday night we got a call from the APs telling us that Sistet Bailey is going to be emergency transferred here. Lowkey this stressed me out because Sister McCurdy and her are best friends. But the unity in lessons is unreal. We had the most spirit led lesson with our friend Karlo this week. We talked about the Godhead and wow. I wish you guys were there, the spirit was so strong.
Green shirts to Green dots:
All of the sisters that we are over wanted another exchange and we didn't have the time to individually go with each companionship. So we decided to do one big exchange and give each new companionship a challenge to compete on the exchange! I went to Little Neck and our challenge was finding two new friends! We had sooooo much time to find so we spent 2 hours outside talking to people. To make it fun I told the sisters I was with that we were gonna talk to everyone, but especially if we saw a green shirt we HAD to talk to them.
And can I just say, God gave me the energy to talk to everyone! I don't think I talked to so many people in a day! And I dont think I have ever been so persistent either, I was not gonna take no for an answer. We gave out a ton of pamphlets, found someone for the Jamaica sisters, found someone for the flushing Hermanas, found someone for the Freeport elders, but alas we could not get anyone for little neck.
But!! We did have miracles as we saw two different guys in two different places, wearing green shirts who were so excited to learn more and said they would read the Book of Mormon!! Seriously a miracle. Green shirts to green dots! God prepared those people!
Did we go on exchanges with our President and wife?
Yes. Yes, we did! We have three really really progressing people but they are just waiting for an answer from God to tell them to get baptized. So we had President and Sister Holmes join! They drove us around and we went to each of our friends homes. President and Sistet Holmes sweet spirit helped each of our grand friends. Michael passed his bap interview and President is going to baptize him next Saturday! It was a day full of so much learning and wow. I love my mission.
Families! Families! Families!
We found the coolest 16 year old who loves basketball this week and his dad!
We found the cutest mom and her 10 year old son, and the mom asked for a reading assignment out of the book of Mormon.
But the grandest thing! I've been praying for months and months now to teach a family. We knocked this door a couple of weeks ago and the cutest dad and two of his daughters answered the door. We tried to go back a couple of times, but it never worked. But we went back on Saturday and we taught ALL 6 OF THEM!! The oldest, 14, the youngest, 8! And they read the intro to the book of Mormon and we went back and taught them how to pray and they are my favorite people ever. I can not wait to go back again! The mom ended with a prayer, "we are so excited to go to church next week!" We also compared Jesus and His apostles to Anikan and Obi-Wan! So pretty much the best!
Kris likes broccoli for his baptism:
Our amazing friend Kris got baptized this week!! 7 Sundays ago, all of our friends cancelled for church, so we started praying for a miracle and Kris walked in! He hasn't missed church since! He said that the book of Mormon helps him calm the voices in his head. The spirit was there at his baptism so strong. After asking him how he felt after, he said "better." We love him.
Anh có thể cầu nguyện được không?
I TAUGHT A VIETNAMESE PERSON HOW TO PRAY!!!!!! I found him on Facebook and I had to type out the outline for him to pray, and he prayed and the spirit was so strong!
With the Families that we taught how to pray this week, with my new vietnamese friend I could feel God's love for them and His joy in hearing from His childern.
YOU BETTER BE PRAYING TO GOD!!!! HE WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU!!
You're all the best!
Với tình yêu thương,
Chị Skinner
