Me with my fav book :)

when your comps about to die (go home)

Hey guys!!!!

As you can tell by the title of my email, we got transfer news and I am PUMPED because I'M TRAINING!!!!! Oh my heck I'm literally SOOOO excited!!! I'm staying here in Wake Forest and getting a brand new missionary on Tuesday!!!! It was the funniest thing. Sister Stoddard and I were praying before we walked out the door for church and in the middle of it President Maurer began calling so I quickly ended by saying, "Please help me not to pass out while I take this call, in the name of Jesus Christ amen!" HAHA! But wowza this is gonna be a fun next few months!! Catch us having the best adventures with me and my baby <3

We had a few miracles! We finally were able to meet with Jase, a former we called into while doing area book calls and he's awesome! We invited Brother Reese to join and team taught the Restoration. He has a lot of questions regarding Priesthood authority and prophets but he seems pretty serious about coming to know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and the Book of Mormon is the word of God, so that's great! He wants to invite some of his friends that may be interested in the gospel message as well. We are excited to meet again next Wednesday!

We decided to stop by some formers houses and we ran into Maribell, a sweet old lady who is struggling with the loss of her parents recent passing. I felt prompted to ask her if she believed she could see her parents again and the question took her by surprise. She said, "I want too. I really do but I don't know how." We pulled out the Plan of Salvation pamphlet and invited her to read it and promised her the message contained inside was God's plan for all of us. She teared up and began saying that she had been praying just a few moments earlier for God to send angels her way to comfort her during these trying times and as soon as she said amen, we knocked on the door. How amazing that we were in the right place at the right time! The spirit was so prevalent in that lesson as we talked about eternal families and she asked if she could come to church the following week! What an amazing MIRACLE!!!!

On Sunday the Bakers invited us over for dinner as well as their son and his little family who recently stopped attending church. It was a great opportunity to get to know them better and become great friends as we bonded over dinner. Our lesson was centered on Alma 37:6 and how we can make the small and simple aspects of our life become great. It was amazing to see them engaged and bringing up memories of their missions long ago. Brother and Sister Baker hadn't seen them become this comfortable with religion in quite a while so it was a real treat to witness their testimonies!

Lastly for the highlights of the week:

*we had dinner at the Partridges and as sis Partridge was bringing out the cake, it fell off the platter while she was trying to sit down HAHA!! Everyone was DYING! It's one of those things you only see in YouTube but not that day XD

*we were doing some finding at the park and a little boy approached us while we took a break to cold call and he asked if we knew Jesus! When we said yes he sat down and asked him to share more about Him. So we did! We gave him a picture of the Savior and he ran off with it like it was 100 dollars. So cute!

*we were invited to Young Women's to help make pizzas for families in our ward. It was fun to get to know our youth better and feel somewhat young again;)) it turned into a bonus because the pizzas we were delivering ended up being to less active members in the ward so we were able to have mini lessons on the spot!

*we decided to heart attack everyone in ward council and at the Youngs home, their big Golden doodle was roaming their property but couldn't get far because of its electric collar. We walked the outskirts of the yard and when the dog turned its head we booked it to the front door before it could get us XD going back to the car was the same story so I'm sure their security camera showed quite the footage XD

Anyways! It's been a great week over here in Wake Forest! The gospel is true. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. And I promise you your life will become more fulfilling as you study the words written inside. It's changed my life as I know it can yours. What great gifts we have been given!

I love you all!!
