RS Newsletter 8/28/21

Lots going on right now—as always. 😊 Please check in on your neighbors and ministering sisters…

“When we speak of those who are instruments in the hand of God, we are reminded that not all angels are from the other side of the veil. Some of them we walk with and talk with—here, now, every day.” –Elder Holland

Congratulations

Happy news for Bill and Whitney Gammell—they welcomed a beautiful baby boy to the crew this week. Mom and baby are doing well!

Wedding bells are ringing for Jasmine Mills. She and Hayden Rugg will be married in the Manti temple this week. If you’d like to go in on a group gift, please reach out to Jen Hammond by September 3 for a late wedding gift from some of our ward sisters. (or Venmo @jennifer-Hammond70)

Quick calendar note

On Saturday, September 11 we will be joining with our community in the 9/11 National Day of Service as we mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11. This is a nation-wide event for people from all denominations, ethnicities, and age groups to come together and serve together as we show that there are more things that bring us together than draw us apart.

In our stake area, we will be holding a Food and Necessities Drive and will have a Service Open House at the stake center from 9:00 am to noon. This event is for all members of our community and stake, so we need lots of help.
