Zone Conference Hello everyone!!  If y'all haven't heard, my new area is LITTLE WASHINGTON!!!! And no I did not move states, there's actually a city in North Carolina called Washington;)) but your girl made it to the coast and is loving every minute of it!! For those of you that don't know, I wanted to serve a mission where I could see the ocean or at least be near the water. God gave me that wish for my second area and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to leave! It's BEAUTIFUL here!! This town is like a beach town. Oyster and crab shops galore, boat lots, the smell of sea air is very prevalent, lots of people ride bright neon bikes to get around, downtown Washington looks like the 50s time period and jazz music is always playing, they have a town square where a bell plays music every hour, you can always hear the bells ringing from the harbor where the boats pull in and every store has white lights strung up outside. Such a cute beach town! Our house is even...

Hello everyone!  This week is transfer week and yes...big things are happening. We got the news yesterday morning that Sister Larsen and I are both getting transferred and later learned through the APs they are closing Hillsborough :/ The Mebane elders will now cover both areas so thankfully our progressing people can still be taught. Our mission only has 18 sister areas and over 100 elder areas, meaning there's about 2 sister companionships per zone. President Maurer is closing many areas due to how many reassigned missionaries have left and how small our mission is getting. He's only keeping the major progressing areas open to keep what missionaries he has in good areas. I will admit it was hard to see Hillsborough get closed...we were told by many other missionaries and our ward that we got it popping off like they had never before seen. Our area book became bigger with formers or new people we found, we took the non existent teaching pool the previous sisters left us with...

youth activity! Aye what's up everyone?! This week was absolutely amazing!  We found a former in area book named Mely! She seemed pretty distant to want to talk with us at first but after a few calls and hearing the scriptures speak to her heart she's ready to have her own copy of the Book of Mormon!! She even gave us her friend's number who's struggling so we can share this same light with her. Eddie read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and is progressing really well! He texted us asking if we could teach him the next lesson on the spot because he loved what he was reading so much. We did a recap of the restoration and I was able to recite the first vision. Man the spirit was so strong! Eddie began tearing up and the spirit bore a powerful witness to each of us that this is the true gospel. JAW ALSO CAME TO CHURCH LAST SUNDAY!!!!! We were actually about to drop him after not having heard from him when the ZLs texted saying they finally, after 6 weeks, got a copy ...

Went strawberry picking and met so many amazing people! Hey ya'll!  Super crazy to think today's my 3 MONTH MARK!!! Wahoooo!! I absolutely love being a part of the Lord's work and can't even begin to describe how happy this gospel makes me! Here's to the next 15 months in the NCRM! Also we received some BIG BIG news from President Maurer today!! FINALLY...after a long year of covid restrictions, we are allowed to GO INSIDE HOMES AGAIN!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! North Carolina is celebrating pretty hard out here!!! This is a huge step and we are SOOOO excited!!!! Don't get me wrong eating and teaching lessons outside isn't all that bad but having one of these rules lifted is kind of a big deal ;)) we still are required to wear masks inside homes if we aren't eating but I'll take that over nothing. We have a mission wide meeting tonight that will go over more details and to hype everyone up for this next week!!!!  This week was pretty great! We haven't be...
